Believe it or not, the bread, and the diamond, are 64x64. I'm using 72dpi, which might be causing the size thing when uploaded to the page. If the main .png has a dpi that I can imitate, I'll remake mine to fit that.
I think what they mean is:
Right click > View Image... > on the top bar of the window it states the image is 144x144. If you have empty space around it (that is still in the file), it needs to be gotten rid of for it to fit.
Can anyone remake block of iron / gold and diamond? those are just ugly.. i always have to change those to make it lovely
There are already at least two versions of the gold, iron and diamond blocks. There is either Ovo's original ones (that are a solid grey/gold/blue respectively) or the remade ones with the ornate ironwork on them. Which do you dislike?

I"m attempting the slim mob at the moment, I've used the physical texture of Ovo's gold block to get a good overall shape, but I think I"ll add some boogers (dripping goo?) to it. For those that want to see what it looks like so far:
But this is only a WIP.
I'm also tempted to see what happens if I change the shape of the eyes and how that will look.
izbbass: I say absolutely add the drip/ripple look! In theory you should be able to change the colour of the eyes, but the shape would be hard-coded by the boxes. If you mean change the shape within that, it should be fine, but trying to reshape the box I think will end up with holes and cut-off textures.
I like this pack, but I got a few suggestions;
1. Round Sun / Moon, please.
2. Needs cloud textures. Hope you got something planned.
3. Oak/Pine/Birch leaves and trunk textures would be nice.
I actually like the rustic look of this compared to the... Medieval European look of DokuCraft.

Benie: I find if you're looking for a more realistic moon/sun, use LB's Realistic. The sun there is beautiful. The moon from either Misa's or Doku also fits very well, and looks very good as a more realistic one in minecraft..
Ovo's Rustic is so distinctive, and so fantastic I think, because it was subtle. It's not a huge departure in any part from what the original minecraft looks like, it's just a more ornate, crisp, cleaned up variant. As such, moving the sun/moon shape from a flat box to a diamond gives it a distinctive touch, makes ones mind think of it less as a box and more a different shape.
Unfortunately, it's also that very subtle charm that makes it such a difficult pack to imitate, because of how distinct and clean it was.
Also, Diamond armour is progressing, with the helm mostly done. I'm going to incorporate a bit of the ornate workings of the Iron door style in the leather that supports the diamonds. (I don't like the idea that somehow one manages to melt and reshape diamonds to be a solid piece).
However, I'd like the general opinions of this mod group with the chest/leggings: Ought I do it in a style of scale mail with diamonds, do a large set of diamond plates, with almost no non-diamond gaps, or 'option c'? I can't decide which way would look better.

That was Serrinatta not me
I'm no good with art besides sketches and physical 3D art
EDIT: Wow somehow I messed up the font on this post and can't fix it.
Good for Faithful x64, but I think this dosen't match with te Rustic theme.
It's close, though. We'd need to get rid of the outline, and maybe make those diamond spots look a little more.... like sparkles.... I might be able to work with this, if you don't mind Karimiri....?

Claws: I have produced armor for every set, and after reading.. I'd really like to see how yours is going. I might even want you to add some of those designs to y own armor if you would. Do you have a skype?
Hey all, sorry for being MIA. My desktop is having power issues and will likely not be fixed anytime soon. However, I do have my spare crap laptop that I got around to do something. The Customizer is finally updated to 1.2.4 as of the 24th. I'll try to get some of the 1.2.4 images up in a day or two.
Great work on the images so far! I only quickly skim through the pages so I'll go through them again later.
Ahhhhh! You guys are amazing!! I love this texture pack, and I've been customizing it with gimp for like 3 weeks... a customizer? Brilliant! Thank you, thank you.
I do have artistic talent, but mostly in blacksmithing, and no experience making something from scratch with a program like photoshop or gimp... so I have a suggestion/request.
Is there anyone who would be interested in making a version of the stone bricks that has tracery/engravings on it (similar to the kind on the ornate pack stone bricks)?

I think that would look quite nice, i'll give it I try I guess.

I must look into this.
Okay, looks like Picasa was being weird... Here, let's see if these are the right size:
Diamond
Bread
Grr, my web-fu is not strong tonight... Neither the forum nor Picasa is willing to work easily for me.

Too gooey?
Anyone got any idea what to do with the eyes?

I personally don't like them gory, so sorry if that's what you wanted.
Looks good! I"ll have to try him out later (on lunch break at the moment).
EPIC!
