finished the CTM i was doing for wood tops Lohugo. they all have the matching wood sides for reference. i also changed my mind and did some for birch as well as spruce and the different jungles:

I didn't really want to make the entire brown bit white as i thought that'd look weird. Admittedly birch took the least amount of work to make, but i'm glad you like the other ones :L
The base wood top works fine with the birch for me. But I was annoyed with the color difference with the jungle bark, so I'm glad you're in the way to fix this!

I've seen them in-game now, and I have a few remarks:
The white patches on the back and sides have both sharp and fuzzy edges. While the fuzzy edges look alright, the sharp/pixelated edges are a bit odd.
Secondly, the tail could be a little bit thicker in my opinion
Also very nice job, really love the hairy texture of its body! It does look little a bit plain in-game though, so maybe you could add some more noise/details/spots? (not really necessary, just a suggestion)

edit, Got it. Disabled connected textures in MCPatcher. Odd that I never had a problem with it before updating the pack to 1.3.1 for emeralds.
Now to figure out why my furnaces have no textures!
