After spending a day working on CTM.... This is what i came up with... maybe this would work as a sort of new master CTM type of thing? I'd really like people to edit it and add more uniqueness to it, especially the sandstone, cobble, mossy cobble, and netherbrick. I did start this off of SMPrevival's CTM thing, if any of you see the similarity. As I said, please add stuff to it, and I also need someone to write the properties, as all I can code is simple LAU in tekkit. A few flowers and the grape textures are something I'm using for myself, Feel free to take/use them for the pack if you really want to.

Are you actually allowed to be giving permission like that? I know that with credit Misa won't mind her sugar cane being used, but I don't remember who made those grapes, nor if they allow re-use. You really need to think about. Do they allow it or not? If not, you shouldn't be posting it let alone giving permission behind artist's backs. o.รด

It tiles by merging into the stones next to it...kind of looks like a bad mirror image to me. I don't mean to be rude, just being honest. It doesn't seem to reflect the quality I've come to expect from Ovo's pack in general.

Sari, just so we're clear on a few things, this CTM.png is not associated with this texture pack, nor will it be included in the final push with our connected textures support. I appreciate your efforts in trying to authenticate each and every texture we use though, but let's not crowd the thread with "he said, she said" issues. If it comes to that again, and you feel that one of these textures is stolen, send me a message.
As for the cobblestone issue. With a proper method, that shouldn't be a problem. But I agree, it does look odd in the CTM.
In conclusion, ownership of textures and the right to protect them I'm sure is well understood in this thread.

EDIT: Since the grapes are from an old pack I loved and miss, which hasn't been updated since 1.8, I'm waiting on permission to actually use them for the pack itself, of course if thats ok with Pythros/Ovocean.

Maybe if you added some gradient shadows and made the outlines less noticeable. cos don't get me wrong it's great, but i can see that you used Misa's logo as a template and that kinda distracts me :L

But Ovo? You don't use animation textures? They make the world quite less static, like watching your own fireplace
Yeah about this diamond, my question may have seemed to mean implicitely that we could use it if we had authorization of the author, but no, we should avoid using textures that aren't done specifically for this pack.
I've borrowed Johnsmith's water and lava around v0.3 and as we can see, it's still here in the pack making me ashamed that I still haven't taken care of it myself. If I had refrained from borrowing a good texture back then, I would have been forced to do them soon in the process and we could now enjoy a better fitting water and lava.
I don't use animations for technical reason but I totally agree that they are an improvement and invaluable in getting the feeling of a living world. The technical reason is that Minecraft is running terribly bad on my 'old' PC, and worse with each new version, so I'm avoiding extra things like animations that would put even more strain on it. Though, I have adopted the lightweight blinking pig & chicken animations by Astro1305 (if I'm right) in my last pack upload.

If this was photoshop work, I'd tell you to alternate your burn settings for the skin. You've got a lot of red in all the shadows which tells me you would have used the burn tool set to "midtones" (again, if this was photoshop). If you can desaturate the red out of those shadows and bring in some brown or dark tan, that would alleviate the "zombie" look people are referring to.
The hair looks vastly contrasting, is the dark vs light a hat? Or shadow? If it's shadow, you might want to make the transition a narrow but tall ragged transition, thus emphasizing that it's hair by the texture of the transition between light and dark. If it's a hat, you might decide on adding a hemline and a few seams to indicate it's cloth and not hair. Maybe even a little durpy bit that's some floppy point laying down?
