Hey, this is pink. I have lost my password to my original account, pinky4341, so Ill have to do with this old account until I can set this straight. =(
Honestly, I'd love to be a little more involved =)
I used to make 1 bit alpha borders for items (i.e. pixelated) but on these ones I tried semi-transparency. It looks a little better when you have the UI size set to Large but otherwise unnoticeable. The problem is that when you hold the item in hands, semi-transparent pixels are made either fully opaque or transparent in a rather unpredictable way so it prevents pixel precision on the borders... All in all, I guess I'll go for jagged edges next time but it's not very important anyway.

PS: . Love it!
Amazing job! (I think we have a pyro on our hands) =) lol

Wanna be more involved? Oh yeah, I would want to be a little more involved!
I've never figured out how to add transparency. Could someone tell me how to? I use Gimp.
There are two ways : adding an alpha channel to the layer, or adding a layer mask. You do that by right-clicking your layer that needs transparency and choosing Add alpha channel or Add layer mask.
If you chose the alpha channel, then use the eraser to make parts transparent. If you went layer mask, click on the mask and paint in black & white ; black equals transparent, white is opaque.
Layer masks allow more precision and changes on the fly since you're not erasing any pixel. I'm using them when the final texture will have transparent parts (items, plants...), otherwise I choose alpha channel when I paint some details on a layer above a background.

When I start from scratch, I initialize to a black mask and paint white the shape of my future texture. In your case, since your texture's already painted, go for the opposite, choose White and paint black where you want transparency.
Though if you already had an alpha channel and erased pixels, you can choose to initialize to Transfer alpha channel.
The items are such a mess of different styles and quality, I decided to spend my saturday trying to fix this. Ended up with this :
New string| Sugar | Bread | Painting| Clay| Shears
| Touched up fish
I also touched up Apachey's apples slightly and the tripwire but too lazy to post that here.
Ovo, I really don't wanna get into, "please make this texture 4 me", or "make this texture bettr", but I was wondering if you could touch up or make the grape vines I made look alot more clean and nicer. Like I said, I don't wanna look like I'm trying to beg to you or pester you, but it'd be pretty awesome if you could. BTW, I really love your items, it looks like you went above and beyond, providing your time for this!
YES!, Just got it! =)
Thanks for finishing these for me =)

the background needs to be transparent, but its looking good
You simply add a transparency layer. Bam!
