Great job, mob textures are just what the pack needs!!!... but could you maybe brighten it a bit? i just think its a bit dark compared to the bone item texture

Would you guys be against it if I put a zip of the redemption pack on my planetminecraft page ? (Along with the link to this thread and of course, mention that it's become a community effort)
It still has a lot of visits so it would be nice to keep up and use that momentum to drive more people to help in the long term.
Ovo, that'd be great. I really think you should pick your favorite textures and add an option on the customizer titled Ovo's Choice.

i tryed the emerald block, just re colored the gold block, but i couldn't get the color just right, but here it is anyway.

Both emerald blocks we have now are good, I prefer mine though since it's a little more... original looking. I like where yours is going, but it shows too much similarity to the gold ore. I do like where your going though, color aside. +1

Hmmmm.... the emeralds... OutragiousMac's looks like the coal ore, and obviously loardvader's is from the gold ore. I noticed when Google searching that natural emeralds are very crystal like, (column like hexagonal things). If you want to really differentiate it, you could maybe play off from that? Then again, the diamonds aren't exactly as "Crystal" either, but at least the diamond part of the ore has "Sides" to it, somewhat like a crystal would.
I'm jsut brainstorming here, so no need to actually follow what I"m saying. But I hope it gives ideas!

Hey guys, Lohugo here.
So with the recent addition of emeralds, I figured I'd try something out real quick and see what you guys think. It's a quick color change to the Lapis Lazuli block. I've seen other texture packs do this so I figured why not give it a shot with Ovo's.
Here's the block texture in its 64x64 format.
And here it is in game.
Originality aside, I think it works rather well, and since lapis lazuli is rare enough as it is, I don't think having two of the same textures will matter all that much.

l also went ahead and redesigned the ender chest. I kept the original feel of Ovo's chest because I love the design, and simply changed the texture of the chest to feel more solid, then I added the scary ender eye on the inside.

Holy crap dude, this is really amazing! It perfectly fits Ovo's style: handdrawn, but not cartoony. I also loved the skeleton you made!

It looks like the emeralds are just sitting on top of the block. Perhaps some shading on the gems will help it appear to be sticking out.
It does seem a little plastic like as Ovo said. Could use a lot of shading.
Wouldn't see a problem with that.
It does just look like a remake of the gold ore. Needs some more originality to the new gem.

Nice. I think the largest one would look great by itself and slightly enlarged. You also have a stray pixel or two to the left of the middle gem.

Nice. The two books, there needs to be something different on them as they look nearly identical. Perhaps like a title or something.

Edit: there also looks like a single pixel from the gold border of those two small dots, that is overlapping the large frame.
Is that ender eye from this texture pack? *tries to remember*
