Sorry, I haven't had time to with finals comming up for school. I really may just wait until my break so I have time to actually sit back and finish them.
Hey guys i have a problem with the Minecraftcustomiser :
When i'm on the site http://minecraftcust...STIC+REDEMPTION so I choose my fav textures and after hit 'normal download' then i have the pack folder, I move it in my textures pack folder in the minecraft folder that's ok but when i'm in game and choose this pack folder, evry texts in the game are removed! (see on screens) BUT the texture pack works! i can play and all the textures are there! So i hope you can help me.
Texts become like this when i choose the pack folder
I did the brightness improvement, finally had to do all layers one by one...
Comparison anim (same time in the day):
Feels much better after, does it ? I have brightened the grass more than the rest, I don't know if it's a good idea, got to spend more time in game.
I also touched up the decorative sandstone made by someone, as well as the jungle leaves by someone and the redstone lamp by someone.

Anyone else notice what makes this pack look so unlike most 64x64s? The answer to that is,
Ornateness. So many other people feel that the higher the resolution, the more ornate textures you can add. This is true, but leaves less room for finer details, like shadowing and smoothness. Just thought I'd point that out.
Ya know, I disappear for one week and suddenly Ovo momentarily returns with a surprise!
The irony is, I'm not sure if I like the lighter and brighter texture... What this means is: I'm going to need to upkeep two version of this pack until I settle this inner debate.

Then trust me, there is no reason to prefer the darker version, except for old habit, which induces lack of hindsight. The textures were abnormally dark especially when compared to the sky brightness, I just increased the "luminosity" of all textures of the same amount (except grass, but I'll change that back).
PS: Check the global color levels in your image editor, the graph shows that the average brightness for the whole terrain file was around 25%. After my changes it's around 50% (which is the normal average value).
uploaded the normal map, light map, and my terrain.png for anyone who wants to use bumpmaping GLSL, or just the lighting effects. Just place them in the main texture pack zip
OutrageousMac, did you fix your wheat alts?

All changed files are in this zip.
Got to go, going hiking this weekend so if you want to put that on the vault/customizer, Pythros, you're welcome !
Here, I added transparency.
My wip 32x texture pack.
A quick touch up of still-don't-know-who's texture.
I know, it's not the exact original creeper face.

Added to the vault.
I must had missed that post? Was it from this thread?
