Gah, sorry I haven't been on lately guys. Work has been hectic and I haven't had much time to work on the animated textures. I've got the jukebox about 1/2 done. Should be finishing that up soon, and I know I still need to finish the enchanting table I was working on if anybody still has an interest in that haha

Also, Nice to see you dropping by and still taking an interest in your pack Ovo Yours is the first pack that has actually inspired me to put my hand to the test and attempt making some textures. Hope you like what you see so far! If not guess we'll just have to keep trying

The best description I can make of the style I was going for is by showing what's already done. Edit: Regarding the defaults on the customizer, I thought it was just a mess. Now I understand you were waiting to have the stats to select the common best choice. That's a safe way to go but I think you could definitely get rid of the vanilla low res textures whenever there's a 64x alternative.
If I remember well, there's a way to define multiple preselections / flavors ; I'd gladly make an "Ovo's choice" flavor if you guys want. It would save me the selection hassle each time I redownload the pack.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can either send me a PM or post here with the items as your choice and I will add it when I clear through the images tonight. In fact, I will have the pack under my name so I can stop using Pyschotic's log in.

I think I'll try to make some textures..... Which need to be completed?

What about having it under an impersonal account, named "Rustic Redemption" or something ? So that the next maintainer won't feel like hacking into your account, and the stats and web adress won't be lost every time a maintainer goes into vacation or dies.

say weren't really critique considering there were so many great things to say and

You captured a style that was so unique and subtle in the 64x resolution, that it
really hit the mark with texture pack users and became a regular graphics package

This style: rustic, bold, but vibrant, realistic, has not been remade to the satisfaction
of the majority of your previous fanbase. As much as one can respect the efforts of
someone delving into a community pack force, attempting to contribute to start
up their texturing adventures, your texture pack was too high quality for the many
of users who have attempted to with this venture.

In no way am I purely discrediting the work of your successors, but it simply hasn't lived
up to the standards you've left behind, in the slightest.

In short, please consider coming back to texturing for minecraft. The legacy
of your work has not been carried out to my and the many's desires.

I agree, however, you can't change the email address to the account =/

@Schwaa: Be sure that I feel frustrated myself to have this big project lying on my desk unfinished, but it's too much for me alone in my free time and I grew a bit tired of working with a soup of pixels. Judging by the urge for touching textures up that I feel when playing to MC, I will probably contribute a couple more textures but I don't see myself head down in the Gimp for months anymore.

If anything, maybe there are a few textures already done, that are fairly good, but maybe you could touch up a bit to have a true ovo feel? You don't have to, but its an idea that maybe between doing some textures or anything you could just "touch-up" a texture or two to look a bit better. Just a thought

Please make a texture of something. I would love an example of the god of this texture pack.

Anyone want to try to venture in making the latch 3D on the chests? I know it will require some changes to the wrapper itself.

I should have an extensive list of ALL the images that would still be needed for this to be 100% soon!

I have most of the images uploaded to the new Customizer. Since Ovo is around, perhaps we would use his picks as the defaults rather than stats from the download? If his picks are different than the most download, have the most downloaded as an alt as community choice? Thoughts everyone?

Oh I had a quick question though, Whenever I use my Ovo's texture, All my aspen tree's have gray leaves? Like the grayscale you see in the terrain.png. Anybody have any idea as to why this might be? I was thinking it might be something to do with the foliagecolor.png or whatever those are that allow biome color changes, but maybe I'm wrong.

Screenie with F3 so we can see the biome your are in. And is it only in one biome?

Uhhh, after another peek at the list, it would gain a lot of time to both of us if I could make the selection directly...
As it is now a community pack, I'm enclined to have the community's choices first, and my selection as an option for those who want the vision of the original creator.

And yes, please don't ask me for specific textures, it just adds to my frustration because I'll never be able to fulfil even a fraction of the requests.

Oh and, you know... I'm an artist like there's dozens or hundreds in every town in the world, I'm just one of them who took the time to make Minecraft textures. It's not that appropriate to call me a god or have some royal deference towards me. My backbone is flattened by erosion due to all the pat on the back I got since I started this pack.

No its every biome. And JUST the birch trees, All the other trees color as normal. Idk what it is....

And yea, asking Ovo to do certain textures is a bit overkill. He'll just start doing what he feels like he can do, and of course it won't be output quickly most likely, he'll take time on it of course. I just merely "suggested" to maybe upscale a few textures already done but maybe didn't quite fit so well, its up to him whether he wants to do that or not

You say that happens with all birch trees??? Have you tried to redownload the pack?

Nahhhh I haven't. Been too lazy to go back through and re-customize it all xD I always just added in textures I liked by hand, I never bothered with the customizer.
