Hello everyone. I was just sorta thinking out loud, it'd be nice if someone made some flower alternatives, like some blue, white and pink wild flowers, or some violets. Another thing I'd like to see is a texture for grapes in place of the wheat texture, which you guessed, is in painterly as well. Three grapes(wheat) would craft Red whine(bread). Anyone think they could do this?
Actually try it yourself first. And don't tell me you were you just wondering. You should do the textures yourself when you get the idea. Others can edit it if they want.
Could someone make a download link that actually has as close to ovo's original pack as possible so I don't have to customize it? There should be a standard download link. That would be great.
fpk35: Compare your diamond with the diamond ore or compare to the other diamonds on the Customizer or my DropBox link in the OP. Rustic isn't going to be cell shaded and have more of a grainy/noisey/less saturation feel. You can just post it and we can give you constructive criticism.

Aww, Pythros, I'd responded to your post about calling yourself a "Troll" and the admin deleted it because they though I was calling you the online-derogatory version of the word troll, and not the regional-rivalry definition of Troll.

Yes, it doesen't really fit to Ovo's diamondore. But I think it fits to the pack. You decide.

That may actually fit better in a "gangsta" themed texture pack. (I hope I'm getting my terms right here @[email protected]) As it looks like it is a block of "bling". It makes me think of those giant dollar sign gold necklaces dangling on a thick gold chain.

Wow! Ovo dropped by! I've never seen him post so currently ever! And yes, ovo, it would be interesting to see what vision and style you would have in mind.
With nearly 8,700 downloads since the 19th of March from the Customizer, I think I have enough data to finally going to get the the list going for the defaults based on downloads of each object.
We will still have another "round" of images to be determined to be default due to some recently posted images and the fact the Customizer went crazy a few times and changed the defaults away from Vanilla =/
The best description I can make of the style I was going for is by showing what's already done. But in a wordier manner, I would say It's inspired by nature, hand-made stuff and fantasy ; relatively simple and round shapes with a few details ; colorful yet not too saturated ; no flat color plastic looking stuff / always have a bit of natural grain.
On a different topic, I could share the Gimp files with all layers if you want them.
Edit: Regarding the defaults on the customizer, I thought it was just a mess. Now I understand you were waiting to have the stats to select the common best choice. That's a safe way to go but I think you could definitely get rid of the vanilla low res textures whenever there's a 64x alternative.
If I remember well, there's a way to define multiple preselections / flavors ; I'd gladly make an "Ovo's choice" flavor if you guys want. It would save me the selection hassle each time I redownload the pack.

I guess I'm slightly confused. Is it suppose to be a Diamond Block or an "Emerald" block for a mod?
