the smooth one i think needs more work though, any ideas?
In the default texture the first glyph depicts (from top left corner to right) A villager, and a creeper. and on the bottom (from left) An eye, and a simple square. The second block shows horizontal lines in a waxing then waning design, I thought you could use that to make an Ovo version of it. Hey Folks! First post on here because I love Ovo's mod, and want to help make it better.
I think someone's already done one along the lines of what I'm about to post, but here's my take on the new colours of wood:

I liked your textures.. so I simply made a somewhat transparent of the other version, adding the yellow hue to the birch planks, but keeping a lot of your noise.
I also found that there WAS a different set of planks, I dont use the default Ovo planks, but another that was in the customizer, So I made updated versions of them as well:
since this wood is already in the customzer, seems fit to have the updated textures of it.

I was trying to look a bit more like real pale wood. It's just a re-colouring of Ovo's original graphics, just re-tinted and shaded and whatnot. I'll take a stab at the hieroglyphs too soon, see what I can come up with.

actually they changed the texture for the glyphs now http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Sandstone If you play on vanilla you can see.
the first has a creeper face on top followed by ... i honestly cant tell, below it, i think letters or runes, and the second is smooth, like the top of the vanilla sandstone.
but if you want me to do the other way i'll definitely do it.

congratulations! your opinions matters to someone! you. if you don't want to add to the pack don't criticize it. And since when is anyone able to speak for Ovo? Do you know him in person? Did he look over your shoulder and say "hey! they're continuing my pack! Oh... Ew I don't like that at all"? Because I highly doubt it.'

I opened the terrain_nh and you are quite right! it is easy to figure out, I already edited it so the bump-mapping matched my own textures instead of alts. I also whipped up some bump-mapped images from the alt wood planks I use, another variation of bricks (and nether bricks) and my enchanting table too. I might try my hand at a few more.

Of course, but we should focus more on completion, and later, revision. Then will we focus, (at least I will), more on mod support.
why are you being so harsh??? I'm an trying to help this texture pack with constructive criticism. what if I cant make textures??? i want to use this pack as it is my favourite pack but it is becoming less and less like the original art and looks different styles to the other textures.

Opinions: everyone has them. you think you're the first person to comment saying "these textures aren't so great.." If you don't like them, MAKE SOME. don't complain. I have a GTFO attitude, so GTFO I do not care about your opinions. If you can't texture don't insult people who can, the textures that have been contributed took time and skill, and were uploaded when someone was proud of them, to have a chance of being included in the customizer, not to be insulted.. You aren't going to help this pack in any way unless you contribute it. The End.
hey, I wanted to try the endercrystal, because even though its an entity, it still appears as a block.
this one i just used the bedrock texture for the base and used one of the mobspawner textures w/out the bars for the cages, they looked a bit too thick to me so i made one that would be a bit thinner so that you could see the crystal part more easily.
in the flat picture the cage doesnt look too great, but it actually looks good in-game.
and i left out the runes on the crystal part... thought i'd see what you would like done with it first before I put those on.
I also had an idea about having the cage be made of runes instead of a solid cage, but i thought i'd let you guys see these before I did an alternate.

I would prefere it if the hunger bar is made of cooked chicken instead of raw chicken.

Since I've still got the original for it I changed it for you (and I agree, it's better).
Also note: Textures I modified but never got around to posting: middle bit on the crosshair is larger (looks better on smaller screens), and half armor image changed from a scratched shield to cut in half.

it goes in the "mob" folder, but its strange, you have to put it in another folder called "enderdragon"
so: OVOS > mob > enderdragon
and it has to be called "crystal"
im not sure it will recognize it as its named now... sorry
