Ok, I tried to download it again today. It worked when I left everything default, but when I customized it, the download didn't work! I know this has been happening for others, but for people who managed to get it working, did you customize it or not?
Some of us, including me, don't use the customizer, we manually do it. It just allows more more optimization and doesn't limit us to wait for the customizer, we can just do it ourselves.
The topic owner really isn't staying up to date with the customizer :S I am awful at putting in textures myself and would like to be able to have the new items.
Quite honestly, I have to agree too, Minecraft is a great game and so is this texture pack. But the reality is that life has to come before hobbies, unless your a nolifer :P. But other than that leave Psychotic alone and let him update it when he is ready. I think that everyone here should be grateful for him doing this in the first place, I know I am. So, let him work at his own pace and stop harrasing him about it.

Maybe somethings going up with the customizer? idk. Unless you mean, In-game, then make sure you've patched your minecraft with the latest mcpatcher. If its something not in-game, then just install all the textures manually I guess. Thats what I do.

Also: I'm going to play with the paintings a bit and see if I can come up with more paintings for the "More Paintings!" Mod. I'm kinda stumped on a few of the minecraft textures for blocks/items at the moment, so I thought I'd take a break and do something else, that isn't done, and maybe somebody would like. I know I really love this mod so It is a tad bit of a personal project..but I'm also going to put it here incase anybody else out there uses the More Paintings mod. The one I show will most likely just be from the "insane" version. The Xtreme version may take quite awhile to make lol.
Edit: I guess I should ask first...What style of paintings you guys want with the texture? It'll be a rustic style of course, but what should they look like/include kinda thing I guess I should say.
I have a friend who does desktop backgrounds with Photoshop, I wonder if she'd like for a few of them to be edited into a smaller version for a painting.. I'll work with a few see which ones work with the normal sizes.
It's a secret! Shhh..... I was going to try to use Blender, but I didn't want to download it and use it for one thing (not to mention learn it) when I realized I could just use Minecraft to do it! I mean, why not? It's already there and best to have it look like as it is in game. Just surprised that no one has done it!

Well it is pretty much 1.2.3 ready, The only things we're missing are the Jungle leaves (being worked on) and the Bottle O' Enchanting (Not sure if being worked on because we don't even have the regular potion bottles yet). If you're talking about when the customizer will be updated to 1.2.3, who knows. Psychotic is busy elsewhere and won't be around to update it too often. If you want it 1.2.3 you'll have to do a manual installation. (Because I'm not sure if the Customizer is 1.2.3 yet or not, I don't use it.
Edit: Alright so I fixed the Moon Phases that were put in by Rhonde. I didn't like the straight, angular edges to the moon phases so I took the images and completely re-did the cut-offs for the phases.
