Nice! I have to agree I prefer red clay. I never used that texture pack but in the one I made (before it died) my clay was also red. I'll get right on making an item for it.

I'm not submitting anything because I don't claim to be good at textures. This is the only texturepack i've used, and I genuinely think that the textures being made for it just arn't good enough.
If god awful textuures are going to be churned out without any sense of quality, then obviously i'm not using any of the new textures. I've only used one single one with my ovos rustic, and thats the health GUI. The rest don't fit and are really just bad.
If we arn't going to try and finish ovos rustic properly and with a quality above a 2 year old with MS Paint (I know its not done with that, its an analogy) then this thread may aswell be closed, because all that is happening is that ovos work is beign ruined and cheapened.
I'm not saying it to be cruel, i'm saying that the quality really is very poor. You guys need to be your own worst critic. Just think, if Ovo made those textures would you really be happy with them? If the answer is anything less than I want his children because its so good, then there isn't much point posting it. It would be much nicer to have 1 single texture that is absolutely superb, than an entire pack that is a bunch of random, ugly scribblings.
If you guys want to create your own texture pack with that kind of quality, don't expect many downloads. Or likes. Or positive comments. Use ovos rustic as a way to practise making good textures, before you move onto making others (because you all do have a lot of potential)

The things like the blaze, the blaze rod that goes along with them, some enchantment tables, the apples, Pinky's chicken leg, one of the slimeballs, and a couple others are fantastic.

There are a lot of bad texture though.
Lol, you just reminded me, I made this a while ago, and forgot to post it.
A friend of mine threw together a moon (obvious how he did it) and a sun, he asked me to try it out. I did, it's not bad, but he didn't do phases, so I threw some in there too. Don't hate, appreciate:
