Passed my exams, so my chaos period is over but i see that most of the textures i was planning to make have been made and lots of them look like the ones i had in mine! And my Photoshop expired :sad.gif: so i installed Paint.net. I'll be playing around in there.
Here are the wireless textures, i was planning on doing much more with them but didn't have the time... :sad.gif:
Well, wasn't really working on anything in particular (took some time off from working on textures to actually play minecraft! :tongue.gif: ) but I did whip up a quick placeholder for the snow golem (I'm building a town inhabited by snowmen out in the tundra, and the default looked really out-of-place.)
I'm thinking of subverting the typical Frosty-the-snowman button look by giving him a little cloth vest instead, sort of like the leather tunic only a little scrappier-looking. The snowman town would probably benefit greatly from randomob support, so I might make some variations as well.
Nice job, but Ores, the Log with the yellow moss stuff, Leaves, and the Stone Chest need work.
Thanks, I put it up mainly to get some advice. And thank you to you too izbbass. Pinky, witch leaves are you refering to? The one with blue on it? Fixed it upp, some.
All png files should be in 1024x1024 resolution, lot 800x800 like you all posted!!!
Pinky, you did only upload that as 800x800 (media hosting site maybe?). I made your changes to my original document though, so here it is (I just thought the green bit of the xp bar should match the color of the orbs though, so I made it lighter). I originally tried to make the whole bar the same color and texture as the rim but ended up coloring the middle bit green, which is why the texture was different in the first place.
Btw, the xp orbs and original icons.png are at this post.

It looks damn bad in-game if using 800x800 texture file...
If you can't post them in higher res, just DropBox it or upload to a hosting server so we will have a working texture, for exampe icons by pinky4341. They are awesome but... why 800x800? In my FullHD screen is HELL visible that it's in lower resolution than it should be... :/
I did upload 1024x1024, save the fiile as. You see, in the forums, if pictures are too big, they will get re-sized. Just right click, then save file as. You could also click the file to enlarge it to full size, then copy and paste.

That might be the doings of the hosting server. For example Photobucket automatically re-sizes to 800x800 (unless you're a premium member I think?). Not quite everyone knows what hosting site to go to in order to avoid such automatic alterations. :sad.gif:
For example: Pinky states he had uploaded it as 1024x1024, but as clicking on it will show, it is now 800x800 (and displayed in the forum post is 92% of 800x800, which is why in parenthesis it states "(was 800x800)").
This is an issue that the hosting service has caused.
The purple ore could use a little more purple :tongue.gif:
They both look like gravitite.
Well, I think that using a variety of different blocks would be nice. Sorry about that. I meant to respond to the post you made after that. :tongue.gif:

Just take that .th out and they should all work. :3

I hope you realized by now that some of the blocks were not done by me. Nice shelf too. Could I use it?

Fine by me. :smile.gif:
