Here is a brown chicken (since I found out the original texture is a rooster and therefore would not be the type to lay eggs) but also a corrected version of the regular texture so the butt is in the correct orientation.
I've heard from someone that the redstone lines (currently)are also the wrong orientation? Anyone confirm this?

Well I can't even get the latest version of the official Ovo's pack, 1.2.1, to load in the first place! I select it and the textures go straight to default, I go back into the menu and the pack hasn't even been applied. I don't know what's wrong with it, maybe it's conflicting with Optifine. No problems with my personal version/s, but I've just always added new textures to it instead of starting fresh with the official pack each time there's an update.

LoardVader still around? I would like to help fix a few things if possible. This awesome pack deserves more attention, I get the feeling that a lot of new users are deterred by the few small problems in the official pack/s in the OP. Most of the older users like me are probably just modifying their old versions with new textures each time there's an update, and so don't know about the problems in the official versions.
It would be great to get more stuff added to the vault too (if that still works?), I'm sure there are a lot more textures stashed away with the contributors.

Sorry I forgot!
I just went back to test and version 1.2.1 IS working for me now, might have been a problem I was having with Optifine or something. I can't really remember what else was going on, possibly links for the ctm/shaders/models packs.
Anyways, went through a test map and all I noticed was the fire texture is still default, and the banners are still broken. I use the banners from Kapouet's models pack, and the fire that Serrinatta posted awhile back:
I apologize that I haven't had time to read through forum posts to see if this has been mentioned. The banner_base.png file needs to be deleted from the distribution. This will prevent banners from all showing as white until a better fix is made.
Yeah sorry, we have been discussing it, but here's Kapouett's 3Dmodel pack which also has the banner textures:
The reason the banner base does not work is because we are missing the accompanying Banner folder and all of it's content. I suspect this is one thing that the game's handling won't "Fill with defaults" (like it does with the spots on the horse). We can do one of four things:
1: Remove the banner base temporarily until all of the other artwork is accounted for. (which is a shame since then no one can see that it's actually done)
2: Request permission from another pack to use theirs as a place-holder. (I least recommend this one)
3: Let downloaders know they will need to add their own copy of that folder to their download of our pack (they themselves can get if from another pack or whatever; but none too many will know how to do this, or have the patience).
4: Copy the existing default textures to our pack as placeholders. (I most recommend this one; if we can't get it from the game, we can use the files from the wiki)

Hi, I have the same problem like Shinnusuke: on a few locations in my map my Minecraft laggs. Other texture packs working fine. I figured out, that it should be something with the horses. Ovo's do not display them, the standard pack will display them correct.
Hope this helps you...
Greetings!
Sorry for editing, MCF has deleted my text. -.-
Are you also running shaders mod?
I remember because Ovo's doesn't have a complete set of horses textures (including the markings) it used to cause a conflict.

I'm using Ovos Rustic Redemption v1.2.1 - 1.8.X and when I add the pack and click on done it still uses the default texture pack and it gets thrown out of the selected ressource pack list. :/
Do I have to use MCPatcher in order to use it?
I just tested it in vanilla 1.8.4 and Shadersmod/Optifine 1.8.0 and both worked fine with it.
What version are you using? I have had this happen to me before as well.

That's strange if you can change texture packs and not get the same error. Which version/s of Ovo's are you using?

So I've been working on a banner texture for the pack so far (since that's the big thing in 1.8)
Sadly I've only got the base texture done and don't have time for the patterns, but hopefully someone else can do that
i've noticed some problems with the clear glass ctm
whenever i use glass panes and connect them at the corners, they don't exactly match up
I never really noticed this before, it seems to only be visible from one side, stained glass panes too.
We must have some of the ctm files out of order!

Hi! For #2 why don't we just ask Kapouett:
Can we put your Banner textures in the pack?

This seems to be a bug with Optifine's current (1.8 versions) glass ctm.
But I've never really noticed it before so I don't know if it's both.

Here's a little adjustment that Apachey made up for me, seamless wool textures
I've named the files correctly and zipped them here
Gives large wool builds a whole new look. Enjoy!
