yea, there seems to be problem with search. I can't help you, if there is no texture in vault. Can you describe how it looks? Maybe i could make one for you
Well I would prefer a texture that looked more like some kind of cobblestone-like material. I have a lot of underground rooms and tunnels in the nether, and the normal texture looks very organic and doesn't fit in next to other building blocks.
Call me weird but I like the intestine version... Riding a horse quickly through nether tunnels is pretty freaky.

And Apachey I forgot to answer why I didn't like the new jungle doors, I'm not really sure I could explain... maybe just because it's hard to tell which door it is. When I first saw that door I thought it was supposed to be the Spruce door or something (until I noticed the jungle logs beside it) and the spruce door is already perfect for the most old/rustic-looking door of all of them. I was looking at so many different door designs and found nothing I could suggest... Maybe just jungle planks colour of wood, rustic hinges, vertical iron straps, and holes in the same kinda places as default?
(I feel bad to criticize, I think everything else is so cool)

My nether tunnel's are inaccessible to horses because I started building them before I had horses, with minecarts in mind so they're only 2 blocks high, and the stairs down aren't wide enough -__-
kind of sucks now because horses are faster than powered minecarts. Although I think they're getting a speed boost in 1.8 to be faster than horses, as well as some improvements to furnace minecarts... although you can actually make a proper train in 1.7, but you need a furnace minecart at each end.

It's excellent! So detailed. Really feels advantage of higher resolution than 16.
And i got question, do i really need to draw side textures? I don't see anything bad with those you made

Apachey, could you upload a zip of just the new textures? so i can just download them, and not have to download the whole pack again? lol i have a data limit to stick too for now, also ill see about making models for them as well, I got cubik pro finally. Also, just an idea i had, but would you be able to do a texture for the golden nuggets that's like a pouch of gold coins? thought that would be cool. Not a nesesaty, but a nice alt texture

I don't think the bottle would look correct at 32x scale since the texture is 64x but I do agree with you that it is too detailed

So many amazing things coming up... I can't wait for the update of the whole texture pack now... considering that there might be a pre-release of 1.8 on Thursday. (sorry, I just had to say it... no pressure... nooooo pressure at all... is it ready yet? now? what about now?)

spruce door (misaligned iron things, and they're copied. take a look at my and ovo's door textures for iron parts)
red cap (need work with face. First of all, those eyes looks like don't follow rules of shadow and lights, they can't be that white, and whole face is smooth, eyes too sharp. And better remove those brush stains outside of texture)
Kobolt (skin is blurry, like it was badly resized. Jaw is just not done. And again, more shadow\lights and you need to smooth sharp parts)
mazestone (ugly. Sorry, but it's just texture with some paint shapes over it.)

I like what you have but i thunk the engraving on the carved quartz block is too deep
