What's up with the Thumbs.db file in basicly every folder?
No other resource pack witch I downloaded has those files in it.
The 1.7 pack is still missing some blocks. The Podzol for example.

I'm still working on the horses... got a bit delayed with some IRL drama, but... Can someone try the miniature chests for the "Saddlebags" for me? It seemed like an easy enough thing to do but I apparently butcher it every time I try.

I'm delayed as well - my holiday season work/life schedules are nuts. Hoping to get back into the skeleton horse after all the celebrations. Funny thing though - the minichest saddlebags were the first things I tried. Haven't tested them yet but feel free:
Hello, Ovo. I'm working on an RPG adventure map that requires a resource pack for a couple of things. Since this pack seems to work well for an RPG, I was hoping that I would be able to use it as a foundation.
I would edit the pack a bit and rename it, then put it up on the map's post when it comes out. Of course, I would give all appropriate credit to you and a link to this pack.
I really like this pack and am evaluating it as a potential recommended pack for my friend's Arthurian themed Minecraft server.
It's the first "medieval" type pack that isn't all dark and dreery. However... I'm used to running a much higher definition pack (128/256) and I can't seem to make myself revert back to something that is so pixillated compared to what I'm used to running.
Are there any plans to convert this to a higher res pack, then make the lower res images by simply downsampling?

That would be hard to accomplish, as people would have to redo all of the currently existing artwork on top of all the stuff we're not even done with yet. Likely the pack will be finished at it's current state before we think of making anything in a different resolution.

Did anyone else notice that light seems off in the newest version? I mostly noticed it with torches around. In the fading light from a sunset, the edges of the torch's light was purple (I think it's the shadows that are too purple). Meanwhile, in a basement full of torches and no windows, it looked yellow. I think the light could use some reworking.
I don't have the skill to fix/edit it myself, and I can't provide pictures.

the torch light it supposed to be yellow, its for custom colors. the purple thing is either anistophic filtering problem, or something with custom colors. if you don't want it go into the texture pack into the mcpacher folder, and delete the custom colors folder
You'd also have to consider, that most of the textures do not even exist in their original PSD/PDN format, which means not only people would have to re-do all the textures in a higher resolution, they'd have to do that without a template. Which as a result would mean, you can just start a whole new texture pack anyway. I tried to give the tp a little bit of Christmas feeling... and added recoloured versions of the chest for Christmas (as the original, one green, one red, and the silver plating I changed to yellow). I don't really like it as I think my success to recolour it is quite poor, but at least it's better than having the 16px original. Edit: they go into the textures/entity/chest folder... in case anyone was wondering. Do not change the original chest texture with it. The names are christmas.png and christmas_double.png.
they look awesome, ill add them to the texture pack when im done xmas vacation.

if you give appropriate credit where credit is due, then you may have permissions do use the pack. everything isnt done by ovo, so you'll have to check the image vault to see who did what.

thumbs.db is a system file, so if you look at the zip file in explorer and not winzip or 7zip, you'll see the images properly. when im back at my normal computer i will check to see if anything is missing. so sometime January 5th onward.

Can we get a sneak-peak at your skellington horse?
I use a Bukkit plugin to allow the undead horses to spawn and be saddled, the skellington horse is my favorite. It's a shame they can't wear armor though.

Am I aloud to use this on a server I am making, as one of the default texturepacks. I did an edit on the gold making it look like a bucket of gold nuggets, because our server uses nuggets as the currency.
I really like some of your textures that you have in this texture pack. I was wondering, since I am making a texture pack of my own if I could use some of the block textures (around 5), such as the jukebox, the bed, and the other few have not been determined. I would be quite honoured if you let me use your some of your textures in my resource pack. Thank you and I look forward to hearing back from you.
I am really liking using this texture pack to the extent that I have noticed a couple of minor things that I would change if I was making the pack. I have gone to the extent of modifying some of the textures slightly so I thought I might post them here in case you would like to change them.
The cobblestone texture had a solid line running along the bottom of the block so I broke that up a bit.
I also completely redid the sandstone texture because I felt yours was too jumbled for a brick like texture
Feel free to use these textures if you would like them in the pack
JC

Can you give us some in-game screenshots please? I want to see how they tile/stack/corners etc.
One of the elders will upload to the vault, surely.
