There is a sight issue with the resource pack for 1.6.1. Whenever you cook something in a furnace it just shows the regular furnace texture in the default pack

When I use the Ovo's resource pack there is no sound! I know this is because they are not included in the current resource pack, because you can have your own sounds now, but could you please include them in it so we have sound! thank you. I have no idea how to add them!
The default sounds don't need to be put in with the resources pack, is you don't have sound it is either an mc bug, your sound settings, or something with your sound card
I was able to poke around in my 1.4.6 version of this pack and use two of the graphics from that to replace the Inventory and Crafting Table interface graphics in the 1.6.x version with those older ones (had to rename them to fit the new archive contents) but now I have those two older graphics back in place and I am very pleased about that.
Perhaps other textures can be replaced the same way. Not sure, but it might be worth poking around.
The vault is meant for people to replace whichever alternate versions of the textures they like with the existing current textures in the main download. All textures should be easy to swap out as long as the replacement texture is named properly. Do note that using CTM will override the existing texture with the CTM textures (if they exist).
On a side note, I'm looking at the plank CTM, and I think I'd rather it worked like the Bookshelves used to... but I notice the bookshelves are not at all? (Mind you I have the version for MC 1.5.2) Currently the plank CTM works more like a random texture.
Also, are there any random versions of the oak/birch leaves that do not contain apples? Just curious...

I updated the OP to say that you don't require the use of MCPatcher or Optifine to run the pack

The MCPatcher and/or Optifine are no longer needed (as of 1.5) to make this pack work. If you do want the extra features (CTM, Custom Colors etc...) Then you need either MCPatcher or Optifine. Again, they are not required to use this texture pack.

Is it the .package file that dictates how a CTM or a Random Texture acts? Mostly, I want to know how the system (Optifine or whatever) can tell the difference since it's all in the CTM folder. I'd like to be able to have wooden planks act like glass or bookshelf, rather than act like, say lilly pads or flowers. But I know nothing of how to create or edit the .package files that are contained with the extra textures for CTM and Random support. Does anyone here know anything?

Yes, .properties, not .package I've been browsing my sims2 again it seems.
But yes, I don't know what's in that coding. I guess I wish I did, as then I could make something similar to the glass one, but for planks.

I posted a pic of the finished textures on her website and someone there wanted to know if I would share them, so I thought I should ask for your permission before I do so.

Hmm, I'm noticing something in my CTM is causing a crash.... But I'm unsure which CTM/random texture it is, as I can spend all the time I want in one area of my map, it's a different area that crashes... and only if CTM is enabled. Would this be a .package issue? Or should I be posting on Optifine's page? I can recreate the crash and get the error log if needed.

Oh, that would be awesome, but I have no clue how to do that. LOL! I love messing with textures, but I have never made a zip file or anything like that. I was just going to email a copy of my texture file to the girl who wanted it. The flower texture I made has textures from 3 different texture packs, so wouldnt I have to post a download for it on all 3 of those texture pack pages?
Well it's still bugged and I only DL the TP today.
Also I get this every time I try and change: furnace_front_lit.png to furnace_front_on.png
Try extracting that file from the .zip, rename it and put it back in, as "Access Denied" is likely due to you trying to rename it while it's inside the .zip. Using 7zip would allow you to rename within a .zip, but not all programs that let you browse inside a .zip will allow you to rename while the file is still inside the .zip.
AS for my issue, I'll recreate it and get the error log in here as soon as I remember @[email protected]
Thank for trying to help Serrinatta but I got the same message trying that way. I never had any probs renaming /moving/editing the old MC i.e rename while still in the Zip . Only since 1.6 do I get this error were I can't change a thing.
Ahh, then I do not know. The only thing I could think of at this point is if you're trying to run MC while you're editing the file. But I highly doubt you're doing that.

It's not the best fire, but it's a placeholder. Basically I copy pasted the torch flame a bazillion times.
