Today I came across some anomalies while using the latest version of this texture (resource, technically) pack in 1.6. The first one I noticed is that the enchantment/potion "glint" effect appears to be a much darker hue of blue than in the 1.5 version I was previously using. I don't know if this was intentional or a glitch with 1.6.1, but here is a screenshot:
Also, after quitting the game for a little while and logging back in, all of the text graphics in-game appeared jumbled together and messed up, to the point where you could hardly read them. Here's a pic of the title screen:
In game; notice the experience bar shows 51, when it was actually 15:
I tried quitting the game and the launcher several times and changing to the default resource pack, but the text issue persisted:
Only after quitting the game and launcher and restarting with the default resource pack selected did the glitch disappear. From there, I could switch back to this pack without any text problems.
Was someone here working on updating the CTM files by chance? I did not see any updated versions.
If not, I am working on reorganizing my remixed package, and slowly fixing many of the CTM from Ovo's pack that I use.
If no one else is working on this I can post some of the fixed files here maybe tomorrow after I get some more finished and make sure they are working.
I'm personally using the Quartz blocks as Greek style columns for the front of my house and other places. I like that we finally have column blocks, and that their smoothness set them apart from the noisy, rough looking blocks in the rest of the game.
I would be extremely distraught if a new quartz texture took away these qualities. It looks extremely nice as marble flooring in my church, too.
Cobblestone / command blocks / farmlands / ladder / melon / music block / pumpkin / stone bricks / and work bench are in this zip (work bench is modded slightly to show a bit more of a random side texture)
I think my love for this texture pack wound increase more of the creator of the texture pack would include more random mobs. With the chickens, pigs, wolves, pretty much every animal. I know the creepers already have a few texture packs and it seems zombies and other things are biome specific like vines on zombies in a swamp which is cool. Just a suggestion.

So um... I finally made an attempt at a variation for the quartz using that texture I'd shown a loooong time back.
The order is:
Plain (I use it for all three sides, but that's my choice)
Chiseled
Chiseled top
Pillar
Pillar top

Reply: The fot think id a resourse pack glitch im pretty sure. and the 51 > 15 thing is the same issue. No clue how to fix that. guess wait till an update

I'll give the marble CTM a shot, but no idea if I can get it to work for me.
Also, when adding them, make sure to name them right. ImageShack was giving me trouble and renaming all my files... again >.<

Sorry to be a noob, but can you tell me how to add these to my pack? What they have to be named, which folder they go in.... I already know how to open the zip file and replace standard texures, but that's about it.

If you open the .zip file, there should be a folder called "CTM". In that, near the bottom should be the plank CTM folders (each one labled for each style of plank or wood). Look inside the basic oak one to see what those ones are named (usually 0, 1, 2, 3, etc) Then just put these in the corresponding folders and use the exact same names as the ones inside the oak plank folder. (might be named "wood" instead of "plank", I'm unsure as I'm not looking right this moment)

I tried to choose another wood texture for the resource pack, I copied it onto the block folder the files were named "wood_birch" "wood_spruce" and "wood_jungle" but in the game it does not change their texture..... any help?
Reply: If its the resource pack, make sure your in the right directory and not in a ZIP file (tho I'm sure you knew whats up ) and for the log textures its log_xxx.png and for wood its planks_xxx.png (xxx being the type of tree) Hope i helped

I will just go down the list top to bottom in your latest CTM download for 1.5.1 and work on them as I have time. So if you work on any yourself maybe start from the bottom up if that sounds good to you.
