compass is a couple postes up, if you want to replace the version i did go for it, was pretty munch a place holder anyway, cause i wasn't sure if anyone else was working on the pack, sorry man
The purple nether gate haze texture says "patch with MC patcher". Nothing else does this. I have optifine installed, but just to check made a minecraft.jar with MCpatcher. Same bad texture.

The animation for the portal probably didnt copy over properly, just wait for the next pack update and it should be fixed
CTM for glass doesn't work in LordVaders addon, neither does in regular pack :3

i would like to see how you got it to work for glass, cause I've tried 20 different methods with he new and old ctm, but nothing works.
Stupid curiosity: Should I make the clock with a gold version of the compass' base? Or bad idea?
Example would be like this:
I can still make a completely new clock, I was just wondering (for sake of theme) if I should try reworking the compass' base with it or not?

looks realy cool, but you should make a version for both just for more options for when we get the customoser going
The new compass looks great but it has an error. The compass points to the east when you go to the north, to the west when you go to the south, etc... I noticed that with the minimap mod.
the compass have never pointed north, it points to your original, or bed spawn point. thats how they've always work.

I've been downloading this pack for a long time and I could swear there used to be a LOT more alternate textures for things. They're no longer in the vault, and I cannot find them in old downloads. Does anyone know where those textures went?
Fire animation has always been A HARD CODED RENDER into Minecraft. One never existing with the texture pack. In the OP, it states that blocks and items have been moved to the textures folder in the Vault. Check there first please.
So why is there default water and lava? I have my game patched to allow custom water, CTM, and all that fancy crap (yes I know in 1.5 it allows HD textures and custom water, and lava.) There use to not be default water and lava.. What happened to it?
Up until 1.5 snapshot, fire in-game was rendered by code within Minecraft. It was scaled based on the texture pack sized. I for one have never seen an animated fire file in the pack.

I had the vault files from several months ago downloaded and a lot of the texture I was using at the time were not in there, however I checked the online vault a few days ago and it was missing a good number of textures as well, but seems to be updated now. Thanks to whoever did that.

Excellent! ill update my CTM zip on the main soon, and add in your working alt as well as get it to work for clear glass!
