I downloaded the pack it doesn't appear and now i cant do anything on minecraft because I download a new update and then minecraft fails whats wrong with minecraft?
The texture pack doesn't do anything with your Minecraft installation. I would recommend to delete your /minecraft/bin folder and re-install Minecraft.
Hmm not really liking the new birch planks texture
Jungle too, I don't know why they were changed. Doesn't seem to suit the pack at all. This is why I still use the 1.4.2 version, with the 1.4.6 items.png for compatibility.
Any idea where (in which file) the brich texture is
(so i can edit it myself )
Extract & open terrain.png in the texture pack.
But if you just want the old texture back, D/L version 2.2.1 (for MC 1.4.2), and swap the items.png for the new one.

This seems like something that we should think about implementing...
Enhanced custom compass to support an arbitrary number of texture layers. The same functionality can be used to create a custom clock texture with separate hour and minute hands. See this sample texture pack. Run the converter again to convert your old custom compass, or just use this /misc/compass.properties:
I don't think any one person can 'give' permission in this way anyhoo. If there were, it'd be Ovo.
Actually, Ovo has allowed anyone use his work so as long as they credit him and link to his forum thread. However, there are images now created by the community. So, the best people to provide permission would be from the RusticRedemption account, by one of the managers which includes LoardVader, Apachey, and myself, or by any of the content artists of the Redemption pack.
Wish that the texture for Gravel was different. It's a bit too busy on my eyes.
Perhaps someone with some graphics skills can work out something, should they feel the same way.
I'd also like to see some sort of visually appealing GlowStone texture. I'd like to light up the world with pretty square bulbs.
I really dig the texture pack. Truly do. Just a couple of tweaks could make it even better.
I lack graphics skills to try it myself, so humbly ask others to consider some changes.
Thanks, regardless.
I know there are a few alternative textures for glowstone, though I think the "lamp" texture we had might have been changed to an alternate for the redstone lamp.... I admit I'd thought the gravel was too busy as well, but it wasn't something I thought was worth my time to bother with. It's a thought, though, to see if we could make an alternate.

My imagination has run free for so long, that I am afraid when it returns it will not recognize me, and eat me! -- Serrinatta
I love this pack! Once I dropped it in, it was hard to switch back to vanilla.
I do, however, see one problem. Glass panes are completely invisible, at least while using OptiFine. Could you add some light, transparent dots to the glass so I don't try to walk through it? (It is especially annoying when you consider that I live in and maintain an underwater city.

There used to be a 'diamond pane' style alt in the vault, I believe.

I tossed together a quick patch for 3.0.6 to add transparency to glass, this uses the Better Glass mod included in mcpatcher.

Just turn off "Connected texures" in Optifine, that'll fix it.

Course you can! A link back to this thread is appreciated, so people can leave feedback (good and bad).

I don't think anyone has a problem with what you're doing though. If they had, they should have posted something by now

But I like my connected textures. That is one of the few reasons I want OptiFine in the first place.
