Ah, better! Are you happier with it too?
Well there's still room for improvement. The reflections would look more like reflections if they were much larger and (even) more subtle. I'd prefer the center dot if it was bigger. And what about this blurry, disconnected south end of the arrow? What about making it a sharp empty circle, like in one of your reference photos? Hm, the red end looks a bit random too. I liked your fleur-de-lys idea for it.

Well, I'm a little worried that the arrow now looks on top of the glass instead of underneath it.
I can definitely make the dot bigger, that's not a problem.
The opposite end of the arrow was just going to look like a counterweight, really, and that dark line between it and the length was really just to emphasize that it's a ball instead of more flat stuff. So we can try empty circle instead.
The fleur-de-lys that I tried to use was this one (because it's really pointy and narrow) and I ended up using just the top center piece of it, as it seemed so heavy for the arrow, and so large for such a dainty part. I'll give it another shot though.
The glare is now the opposite direction (bottom left to upper right) smoother, and I toned down how bright it was.
Attempted the Fleur-de-lis (but I think it looks like a star with a stick shoved up it's--- yeah)
The brushed texture that I gave the back of the compass (behind the needle) now shows really easily. I'm not sure if I like it, but I've tried blurring it (at different amounts) and it seems to look worse when blurred. @[email protected]
Hey, I was wondering if you could make it so that I could make my skin just like the villager's skin, that would be cool, Idk how though, it looks like they have a bunch of pixels in it which wouldn't work for my skin, Idk! I'll check this forum periodically for an answer :).
Forwarding a comment from my planetminecraft page, this one is for you Redemptionists :
This texture pack is so Âing awesome.. especially the random textures decorative stuff has.. like dead bushes, tall grass..
I placed a dead bush.. and it was bones sticking out of the sand.. XD EPICNESS IS EPIC!
Not to mention the random textures of basic blocks like Grass blocks.. walking in a forest and there are actual leaves on the ground.. even more epic. Sometimes when im walking through the desert there are random things on the ground.. like a little pebble, or a purple flower..

Circle back end looks fine though.
No comments on round four? *head-scratch* not even comments of agreeing / disagreeing with me? o.O?

Hey I was wondering if someone could help me with something? I used to use mcpatcher with connected textures to make it so the glass blocks/panes connected when placed next to each other. I just switched over to using optifine and it says it has support for connected textures however the glass blocks don't connect when placed next to each other. Can someone tell me why this is?

It does have support for it, but it isn't turned on by default (I don't think?). While in game, check your menu. You'll have a ton more options. I forget where in the menu it is, but it's within playing a world that you've got to set it. Then the feature will be across all worlds that you play. Hope that helps?

Not really sure if I like it. : /

Btw I looooooooooooooooooooove ALL the textures! Espacially the randomized things like mobs, grass, etc.
Best texture pack I've ever seen!

Curse Premium3.0.5 For 1.4.7 - Are we done with [purple] pixel errors?
is giving me this file:
Ovos Rustic Redemption v3.0.3 (for 1.4.7).zip
Is this file really v3.0.5 and someone just forgot to rename it? Or is it really a faulty link that gives v3.0.3?
Isn't this texture pack up to v3.0.6 though? If I remember correctly, I thought I saw that being said in a post...

Opaque images plus a failed undo on flooded the file with purple to find those hidden random pixels...
Which is now fixed!
3.0.6 for 1.4.7
Baked Potato and Poisonous Potato's have had the images switched in the 3.0.6 update.
LOL thanks! Now Potato and Baked Potato are switched LOL.
