Amazing texture pack, but I am thinking of making my own. How do I make my own texture pack?

Let me get that straight: I'm completing and assembling all texture packs now.



CHANGELOG:

-Full 13w02b snapshot support
-Random pixels removed


IN NEXT UPDATES:

-full independece from other artists (almost there!)
-more CTM block support
-more random\biome-specific mobs
-complete particles
-enderdragon
-more animations (maybe...)
-alternative.png (font for enchantments)
-more custom colors
-new armor


Suggest textures, report bugs.

I am getting an invalid download link as well on media fire.

I have been getting these more often now in the US. I also do not have the security settings set to "cookie me up baby" on my browsers. Definitely not able to download it in Safari, Firefox or Chrome with normal security settings going on. Had been able to to get .04 fine

i like the new unstiched textures. we can play with ovos still without updating, and see the new textures for the new items from the default pack.

I think MCPatcher installs them by default but id like to extract them to use in my personal version of the pack post 13w02. does anyone know what file to extract them from?

textures/blocks/portal.png
textures/blocks/fire_0.png and fire_1.png

It should already be in the Snapshot pack?

Fire up until 13w02 has always been rendered by Minecraft's engine. There was never a file for it.

1.4.x and older:
Portal is in anim/

However, I don't think we did that it was rendered by Minecraft's engine as well.

Which version of MC are you running? *head-scratch*

Compasses, clocks, water and lava all work different in regards to animation in the latest snapshot. Mind the changelogs.

Is it bad that I look at that golden part of the clock and think "Why the heck did I submit that!? I could have done better!" And then get lazy and don't want to do it.... Just working (and watching others work) on this texture pack has increased my skills and attention to detail.

My opinion is that it's a bevel (and some lines) added to the texture I put up as reference. I really only meant that as a reference, but since I can't find the original it was taken from online (as it's been re-sized and recolored numerous times on my computer) that I don't even remember what the original looked like. I'd first used it way back as an alternate to glowstone (See post in page 85 of our thread http://www.minecraft.../page__st__1680 ) followed by an attempt at the redstone block too (not posted). So, who knows? *shrug*
