I noticed that our growing carrot / potato has multiple plants in each image (much like the wheat does), but our loot item from them is a singular carrot or singular potato (while the wheat is bundle of it)? Would it be more consistent if the loot item from carrot and potato were to be a bundle of carrots and a sack of potatoes?
It's just something that I'd been thinking about.

looks awesome azon! my only query is that i would prefer if you uploaded the textures each in separate images just to make it easier to add to the image vault

If your going to use this in your youtube videos, all you really have to do is put the name of the pack and a link th the first page of this thread in the description and that shuld be fine... something like,
After updating to the 1.4.6 version I noticed some of the textures were off color. See screenshot below showing cracked and mossy stone colors are off. It looks ugly IMO. The screenshot shows the difference between the two versions. Is the community aware of the issue? Or is this only happening to me?
Mencken_Fan, here is unfinished mod support for Simple Ores.

Thank you for such a quick response. The ores and tools look great but I'm afraid I don't know what to do next; I don't understand the process.
What do you mean when you say "the mod support is "unfinished"? Are these new textures going to be added to your pack? Are you going to make a separate file to add to your pack? Am I supposed to create a file myself (and if so, how?)
Sorry that I know so little.... I'm just a player (not a modder) and I understand little about the mechanics of these things.

The off color bricks look like the extra textures from the random file. It's not something I often use, but I wonder if it's gotten an accidental adjustment, or if when Ovo adjusted (brightened) the overall color of the terrain.png we didn't adjust the random file along with it? Your good screen shot does not have textures from the random file, that's why I'm suspecting the file itself.
Anyone been working on the random file that might have better insight than me?

Sounds like you didn't patch with MCpatcher or optifine
Why can't we simply get a Step 1, Step 2, etc type of 'how to install' on this texture pack?
1) I get that I'm suppose to patch with MCPatcher first, but what options should I choose when running MCPatcher? And what does running MCPatcher DO exactly? It looks to me like MCPatcher installs OTHER texture packs, of which I have no knowledge of and isn't explained anywhere.
2) What's the next step? Do I download Minecraft Customizer? If so, the link provided brings me to a page that has another link that brings me back to minecraftforums, there is NO download link anywhere. And what do they mean by "don't download the beta"....the beta of WHAT? minecraft beta? Texture pack beta? Customizer beta? What?
3) What are "Community Selected Defaults"? Defaults of what? Is this the actual OVOS Texture pack or is it something else? I assume I should download the file for Minecraft 1.4.6 (3.0.1 for 12w50b), but what do I DO with these files?
Seriously, there's a distinct lack of direction for this texture pack file and I have no idea what to do.
slandshark, I wont read everything after your words about "mcpatcher"
MCPatcher makes all features in our pack work (random mobs, textures that above 16x16 dimension, etc.)
1.Go here
2.Download MCPatcher
3.Run MCPatcher.exe
4.After loading, press "Patch", wait
5.Run Minecraft
6.Press "Texture Packs"
7.Press "Open texture pack folder"
8.Place in opened folder our latest pack (link above)
9.Choose it in Minecraft
10.Enjoy.
1.) You need just to follow my instructions above
2.)...
3.)see my phrase above
it's only steps you need to do
Thank you, instructions like that are very much needed in the first post. I noticed that MC Customizer isn't used at all, but in the first post it tells you to download it. Anyway, thanks.

if you have an image editing program like gimp, you can edit it into the terrain.png or if you want i can send you one with it already in it.
Send me one with it in it, I'm not great with picture editing. The most I can do is crop.

What if there were flies and maggots? O.O (just brainstorming XD)
