Can either of you (or someone) show me an in-game screen shot so I can see? Or I can wait till I'm safe to update.... bleh. I admit I just hate waiting.

Does this help?
this is most likely caused by misaligned pixels in the items.png, not a problem to fix, i should be able to get it done in a cupple min!
Edit: Fixed it up, just drop the items.png into the GUI folder in the texture pack zip and all should be good
Also, Apachy i gave a grid that i use to align up the items in the items.png that you could use. they key is that every line is 2 pixels wide, but the item can only overlap at most 1 pixel (screenshot below)
Like so ^
If you have something like "NVIDIA control panel" or ATI's "catalyst control center" you can open those and set your card settings to default somewhere in there.
I'm having the exact same problem. I went into my NVIDIA control panel, and reset to the default settings, and it didn't help. Anyone got any other suggestions? This is my most used texture pack, but the floating pixels in front of my items are driving me insane. Thanks in advance!

ALMIGHTY THEN! I found what i did wrong and fixed it, heres another working items.png (i tested it in game and all seems fine)
Also, to make it a little easier for people to make the change:
0. Make sure the image file you download is indeed called items.png (change the name when you download it)
1. Locate and open the texture pack zip with winzip, winrar or 7zip, whichever you have
2. Open the sub-folder in the zip called "gui"
3. Drag and drop the new items.png into the gui folder, and your all done.
Awesome... I didn't read carefully when I initially read that post. It worked though, so thank you and loardvader very much. And thanks to all of you that put in all the work to get these amazing packs up and running. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say your work is much appreciated.

I really like this texture pack. I have previously only used texture packs that look like the default (faithful, r3dcraft) since I could not find any texture packs that I didn't absolutely hate. The first time I used this, I fell in love with it. Thank you!
I think my love for this texture pack wound increase more of the creator of the texture pack would include more random mobs. With the chickens, pigs, wolves, pretty much every animal. I know the creepers already have a few texture packs and it seems zombies and other things are biome specific like vines on zombies in a swamp which is cool. Just a suggestion.

"Creator", at this point, theres like 4-6people actively working on this pack :P. also for most mobs there are multiple textures, you may just have to look in the image vault.
I should have ran though all the items I knew of that had the floating texture thing, but I didn't cause I was lazy and now that's more work for you guys.
So I also see this issue on the Sugar Cane and the Mushroom Stew.
I have to go now but I'll add more as I find them.
people with the floating pixels on items... use this items.png, which i had already posted on this page, and the previous page, but you all just seem to lazy to look

I am using what you give us, I'm guessing some of them where missed but I'll replace my old with this and see what the outcome is.

Well I meant screen shots of the change I'd made.... @[email protected] Ahh well, I'll just wait until I update so I can see it up close. *Shrug*

Are you using a shader of sone type? Looks like specular mapping to me.
