From the tiny things you pointed out (like a TNT fuse...), it seems to me that this should be a personal pack, not a publicly released one. Clearly it's not getting much positive attention, and there are already packs extremely similar to this one, so really, this should be kept personal, not public.
I've said all I need to, if you don't get the picture by now then I really there is nothing left to do.
*Sigh* More simple packs. I honestly despise the creation of simple packs, except in the rare exception they have some form of shading and color selection. (example being tiny Pixels).
And when you spend half an hour doing the mobs that clearly suggests lack of effort and care for the pack. My signature holds my very first pack. It is sort of simple(actually its cartoony) but atleast it holds shading, color selection and some differenciation of shapes.

Some of us can paint the Mona Lisa the moment we pick up a brush, for others, it takes years and years of practice. This pack isn't hurting anyone by existing, it's not being forced upon us. The author created something that he/she likes, and was generous enough to share it with those who would like it. Now for those of you that cannot fathom the concept of proper criticism, here's an example:
This texture pack is a good first try at creating textures for Minecraft. It does what it sets out to do (provide a simplified "feel" and look) and it does it well. While there may be other works similar to this, your pack adds another option for those who may desire it. May I suggest, though, if you make any future packs, that you try to add more detail to your textures? Those help make the blocks "pop out" and seem more 3-d.
