Well i took the challenge to create a texture pack, it is NOT complete and has many errors.
I am constantly working on fixing it up but it takes a lot longer to make than i expected.

Here are a few screen shots of what i have so far:

Dude, simple 1 color block texture packs have been done 1,000,000 times. Everybody does this. Make something themed. :smile.gif:

Do some shading and stuff on the colours. Then it'll look better =P Google shading tutorials if you don't know how to do it.

ALSO: Wtf is with all the GLaDOS avatars?!

For starters, having a block that's only one solid color is not only a terrible, lazy texture, but it does not increase FPS. And as for the "terrible, lazy" part, it's definitely not worth an adcraft.

Thanks for the imput guys, im looking into shaders and stuff now, ill post a direct linkbecause it is *not* the best and i know that, maybe i may start on a entire new theme.

Simple packs are no longer an excuse for a "first pack". And simple one colored blocks will not increase the FPS unless you actually downscale the entire Terrain.PNG to 8x8. Please I beg of you do not rush packs, because making a texture pack is not a cakewalk as you may think it is.

A simple pack will only give you the illusion of faster performance but it doesn't work that way.
