v0.3
GUI (including Achievement menu) 99% done. 1% goes to effect pictograms, which I probable won't be changing at all. Some fixes. Some new textures. Nothing much really. Although terrain.png is approximately 75% completed.
v0.9 BETA
Terrain.png is completed. This is the reason why pack version jumped to 0.9 and got additive 'BETA'. It is totally playable now. And if you had waited for final release, you really should try it now. Because I'm going to slow down now to play and see how this textures combining with each other, and how they look as whole in different situations. Everything else, that I have planned, is also done, and the only things left (and why I can't call this version 'final') is mobs and armor skins, which going to be released, but little by little. And it is very possible, that I'm going to make several skins for one mob (as support for Random Mobs mod) and only then start the next one. It can take some time... So, enjoy version 0.9 and watch for updates.
Absolutely amazing how fast you got this pack ready to go white. Everything is so well done, this has quickly turned into one of my favorite packs of all time.
One piece of criticism (constructive I hope) that I have is that the normal mossy log texture doesn't mesh very well with wooden planks, and while I like the texture itself I think it would be more suitable to make the dark wood have the mossy styled texture, while keeping the regular wood cleaner.

Moss was added to distinguish the difference between 'log' and 'pine log', because both textures came out with similar bark patterns and hue. I didn't think of architecture use of logs in that time and this is my mistake. Although, I'd like to have one of logs mossy anyway, and trunk of a deciduous tree, I think, fits for this role better. Don't know why really. I guess I just like to see pine bark dry and clean.
In the same time I don't really like my woden planks. There was at least five choices, but all of them wasn't perfect. It's possible that I'll change the planks. And maybe the new ones will mix with mossy logs better. But I'll think of mossless (is this a word?) logs also.
PS
And thank you for introducing MAtmos mod to me. I have found it through your signature.
:smile.gif:
I agree with StarShaft it doesn't blend real well even though I enjoy the looks. All my current houses use the normal logs but when I use this texture pack they don't blend well.
And may I suggest that if you do wind up changing around some textures, would you mind keeping them & making it into an ALTERNATE TEXTURES? (: *Including decorative wool & normal wool*

This is really good idea. I'll try to implement customizer for next update. If there will be something to choose from. It's pity I dumped so many textures already. But maybe I'll find something in forgotten layers... And I will keep this in mind during future work.
Everyone who didn't like mossy log can use this quick fix:
Just place it in archive.
...
Also, I am looking for free and trusty hosting for my texture pack. The size of the pack, actual fixes and customs will never be more than 100Mb. But I need clean links without ads for users to download files directly from this forum pages. With right names, because ImageShack has very annoying habit of renaming them. If someone know of such service or can provide it, please, answer here on send me PM.
It would not be a problem just for the pack archive. But I'd like to organize custom texture gallery and I see no point of using minecraftcustomizer.net (especially with its persisting uploading problems) because I can arrange everything here. Pretty neatly and even more comfortably.
Added the "Customizer" in first post. Nothing much by now, but can be more in future. Feel free to complain if some default textures looks odd or plain bad to you. They may be prioritized for alteration.

That looks great, and I'd love to see it in game, however it seems as though placing it into the pack's archive doesn't work for me.
In other news I can't seem to vote in the poll, so I'll just say here that I love the glsl mod, and would be ecstatic to see this great texture pack support bump-mapping.
Your pack is really really good. But to make it perfect I hardly suggest you to work on armours and mobs texture. The other things are great.
Already started zombie. This task is more time consuming, because need to be done 100% by hand. And skin wrapping can give me some headache. But I think some results will be pretty soon.

Make sure that you use last version of MCPatcher and all textures is set as "custom animated" in options. I think they should be on from the start. But who knows... Also make sure that custom textures are placed in root of the archive. I guess I need to post more detailed instructions in customizer section.
And I noticed that poll is buggy too. I think I messed something up while deleting the last one. Send Pm to admin already. Maybe it will be solved.
This pack is fantastic. All of the textures are wonderful.
My only flaw with the pack is it's graininess, but respectively, that comes
with the 128x resolution.
Any interest in 32x? Even 64x? More appropriate detail can still be achieved in the
lower resolutions. For example: John Smith's pack is quite similar in style.
None the less, fantastic work, I look forward to seeing more :biggrin.gif:

I thought that may be the case I'm using optifine so that would explain why custom textures wouldn't work, thanks for the info.

And to eliminate graininess on any pack you can use optifine's built in mip-mapping feature. It works wonders.

There is plenty of great 32x and enough of 64x packs. And I can't compete with them. John Smith's or Ovo's packs set the bar too high already. But there is a vacant place in 128x and I plan to take it :smile.gif: Also, there is level of details. And it's pretty distinguishable on close look. There is a problem with graininess, as you said, but I kinda hope that MCPatcher (or even Mojang) will fix the bugs with anisotropic filtering. And anisotropic filtering x16 makes 128x textures smooth as silk on any distance, keeping the details.
v0.3
GUI (including Achievement menu) 99% done. 1% goes to effect pictograms, which I probable won't be changing at all. Some fixes. Some new textures. Nothing much really. Although terrain.png is approximately 75% completed.
And ofcourse a little peek:
Those are probably the most amazing rails I've seen in a very long time, and the mossy log is fantastic!
v0.4
Another update. This time only terrain textures and custom animation. Terrain.png now almost completed and will be finished for the next update.
Oh, and happy new year!
v0.9 BETA
Terrain.png is completed. This is the reason why pack version jumped to 0.9 and got additive 'BETA'. It is totally playable now. And if you had waited for final release, you really should try it now.
