In Beta 1.8.1, there wasn't any snow due to the snow being off. I said in my mind "No snow=no fun." Then I said "If I could just make a texture pack for winter...But I don't know how" And then, I randomly knew how to make and upload texture packs. I was so excited to release this texture pack!
This texture pack was created exactly at December 19, 2011 12:10 AM.
To download, it is COMPLETELY different than just adding it to the texturepacks folder and opening in the window, no, you have to install it like a mod(Because I found out that when I made it's picture and everything it didn't appear in the Texture Packs section in Minecraft)
For those who do NOT know how to install it:
1)Open "Start" or the Windows logo button.
2)Type and search "Run"
3)Search for "%appdata%" without the "'s
4)Open .minecraft
5)Go to bin
6)Open minecraft.jar (Not minecraft.1.0.0.jar)
7)Open wintertexturepack.rar
8)Copy all the files in wintertexturepack.rar to the minecraft.jar
9)Close all the windows
10)Start Minectaft and have fun in the winter EVERYWHERE!

And I can't make it like a PROPER texture pack because I don't know the files to actually make it on the Texture Packs tab.

Remember, this is my first texture pack and yet I have to finish the abonable creeper
(Please spawn an enderman if you can so that you can see how it changed from a dark monster to an abonable snow monster! rawr)
