The textures of Tyko are focused upon creating a very immersive, yet extremely cartoon like world within Minecraft. The inspiration for this texture pack was its own predecessor, Bolden. But while Bolden strived for a cartoon/realistic look, Tyko will focus purely on cartoon style.
Thanks!
I would like to thank the Beta testers for the outstanding support I have received while Tyko was in Beta. I never expected Tyko to become as popular as it has become over the last few weeks and it has made me so happy that something that I have made has had such an impact on so many people. It is this support that makes me want to continue supporting my current texture packs and even create new textures to share with you that stretch my creativity and abilities. Thank you.
How To Download Tyko:
You must have patched Minecraft with the MCPatcher before you attempt this solution. To use this and the default texture you must .zip the contents of the Tyko folder, name it, then put it the 'texturepacks' folder inside the Minecraft folder. Then when you enter Minecraft just click on the Texture Pack tab and choose Tyko as your texture. Thank you to Lupin857 for this great method of installation!
Terms of Use:
I do not want any of Tyko's textures to be 'copied' or 'taken' whatsoever. If any other texture packs include any textures that look whatsoever like Tyko's textures, I highly recommend reporting them. Even textures that use the same art style that Tyko utilizes, please do me a favour and report them immediately. Thanks!
This is really awesome, I normally hate semi simple textures but this is absolutely amazing! Going to download now and do some testing this afternoon, though the mob textures are kinda meh, everything else is amazing
I'm having issues getting this pack to work. It shows a grey version of the default pack icon (I assume it's supposed to show the pattern in pack.png), and uses the default textures when selected. I've tried using both Optifine and MCPatcher with no luck.

I also have this problem. In reality there is in the file *.zip two documents. One for Mac OS and one for Windows and that's what makes the pack not visible (at least not the textures in game). Just trying to extract the files according to your OS (I think it's Windows?) in the *.zip file and remove the second folder. It should work :wink.gif:

I'm not sure what I did, I unpacked the zipfile and repacked everything, and now it works. I'm on OS X Lion.
