I have started on a new, much better looking pixel art pack that is probably going to take this one's place. (Under a different name)

So I saw a contest while browsing this wonderful forum, based on making a pixel art texture pack. I noticed how nice the textures looked, and decided to try it myself. The pack you're seeing is the result. Pixello.<-That's the download link, btw
Great job! Looks like a high resolution even though it's only 16x16. Please PM me when it's done. The ores are the only textures I don't like, but very good overall!
Glad to have positive feedback so fast! TheLivingTree, I can't promise you I'll ever finish this, I have a tendency to abandon packs rather early, but I'll try.
The ores looks strange, the style you've chosen would probably fit better if the shading was inverted, making it look like it's a vein within the stone, rather than sticking out as such; the diamond could also do with a slight shadow on the bottom left, it looks a little flat
The dirt looks also rather unfitting, I see how it's a recoloured stone, which normally works in packs, but it just doesn't look right IMO...you may want to consider trying a new style (although I can't give tips, I too suck at dirt); I think the grass is just a tad too bright also, but that's an easy fix.
I love the oak trees, both the log+the leaves look beautiful! And your stone texture's pretty nice, but you need to do more textures already!
Actually, the dirt is a completely different texture than stone, not a recolor. I may try the inverted shading, though.
