I don't believe that it is a problem with the pack, but with what I am doing.

Whenever I use any texture pack, the dirt and stone blocks have portal and fire animations on them, and the water is a light blue with a message saying: "Use the latest version of MCpatcher". The thing is, I have the latest version (2.2.3).

Does anyone know how to fix this?

If you're on 1.0.0 use the 2.2.2 version of the patcher :happy.gif:

If that still doesn't work, I don't know. Maybe the pack is outdated.
