No, they're edited to make them smoother and a good feel. Take sand for instance. Selym said (I know him personally... no, not like that!) that he made it look like the sun is reflecting off the sand...
Anyways, the next version will combine the best textures from the best packs into one! That'll probably come out this weekend or so.
Until then, yes, its basically Gerudoku with edited gui and blocks...
