I've put probably a day (24 hours) into mine and I would say it's between 5-10% complete (I really should look at all the textures and count them, but I'm lazy)... So really please let the thread die due to it being done before. Also as a moderator on a vanilla server, I don't like, but that's personal opinion.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Im making myself a new signature soon, but im les tired.
What do you mean it's successful? the entire thread is full of people saying you shouldn't have made the thread. Either way bumping is against the forum rules, and it isn't something you can just say sorry for.
And no, last I checked x-ray packs are not, not allowed on the forums, however they are not allowed on the server I play on because they are used for looking through things that should not be looked through.
he cant post xrays pack thats true but he isnt bumping he is just saying something about this pack, if you want to bump you have to say "bump" in a post and thats bumping, if you dont like the thread just report and dont say anything so it doesnt get "bumped" how you say :wink.gif:
I apologize to those of you who wish for this thread to die, but I can see the OP's meaningful intentions; he deserves the knowledge behind such opposition.
Nothing is essentially wrong with posting an X-ray pack. Nonetheless, it is indeed frowned upon (as you can clearly observe), because it doesn't require nearly the amount of time, effort, or thought in comparison to that of other renowned packs (or legitimate texture packs in general). It also moves such packs further down the archive, where people are far less likely to notice them. Now, understand this; your heart is in the right place, but your mind isn't. Devote some time into creating an original composition, and continue to progress it beyond that point; only then will we attribute your intentions in response to your creative product.
*Psst! Here is a rule of thumb*
1) Avoid posting unoriginal textures (i.e. simple textures, painterly remixes, and the like; they've all been done before, and many do not wish to see them).).
2) Avoid posting textures that take either take little effort to create, or simply encourage the use of exploits within the game itself (acknowledge celtic08's post relating to multiplayer use).
3) Do not use others' textures and claim them as your own; permission must always be granted, and cited.
This should prevent unnecessary flaming towards you in the future (which really shouldn't be happening to begin with).

Curse PremiumWhile most other texture packs take days of constant work =/
agreed, like yours for example, you put a lot of work in it, you deserver the thousands of views :smile.gif:
if you make a texture pack in 30min, it's probably a sign you shouldn't put it on the forums....

Necropost?
Why?
Please don't revive this topic, there's enough X-Ray packs out there already.
