Hello, and welcome to the Charcoal Pack!

The Charcoal pack is a vanilla 16x16 texture pack that attempts to stay close to the default textures. Inspired by Quandary and Painterly, this texture pack is really early on, so be gentle!

Also: Images are not right, and seems a bit lame. Is all stone just coal?

Nope, it's just a mod I have on that makes coal generate ALOT! Sorry about that.

Work on your tiling.
Try to make it at least a noticeable difference, this looks like default, except for the trees.
