Do you have MCPatcher? Might be the problem. And MCPatcher is better than Optifine if you want the textures. Download Optifine after MCPatcher.
MCPatcher isn't required for this texture pack. I use optifine alone and all of the textures are fine for me. It could be Endermansquids resolution of the texture pack.

nice work! but i have something to say: i know this is based off of a game, but some textures are missing (sheep, chicken, villager,) and also the crosshair changes color depending on what block you are looking at. Other than those, this is a good RP

The crosshair will always change color no matter the texture pack. The crosshair is using opposite colors so you can see it.

Yes, if you look at other resource/texture packs, they will also have color-changing crosshairs; and Blaz is working on a fix for the sheep, chicken and villagers, just wait for the next release!
YES. Yes please. This was my favourite game of ALL TIME on consoles. And you just ported some of the textures over to MC. Thank you. So much. Man-Squeeeeeee-

Also, just a suggestion, as the Wii U "remake" is coming out, make a Wii U Edition of the pack that's 512x, and possibly a Wii Edition thats 256x? That'd be pretty cool

Wind Waker Texture Pack and for Pocket Edition! ~ Texture Pack Central - Large directory of Texture Packs!
I was playing around with the pack a bit but noticed that the grass blocks are a bit plain. It looks a bit stale and I think there should be some noise. Of course, that's a bit tough to do considering that this is a Wind Waker pack, but the grass needs a bit of work imho.
-LOVE the texture pack although I'm having small problems with the texture pack, I'm not sure whats wrong. I'm not getting a center cross instead I have a square with inverted color, also my hearts, armor, xp bar, and hunger are all just white boxes the do not change. help?
-I also found that mobs make link sounds when the take fall damage.
-Some horses are missing eyes
-the connection on multiplayer server list are white boxes
I am using the 128x texture pack. please help me

Could you take a picture for me? Also could you list what version of Java, Minecraft and your system specs are to the best of your abilities?
I'm not sure what could cause this, other than possibly incompatible mods that use their own custom textures perhaps. I've never encountered such a weird bug =o Though as for spiders, they do unfortunately share the falling sound with the player, so you may occasionally hear a spider make a link scream which I can't really control.
