Damn, you guys are good at this. I was originally considering trying, but I have lost all faith in the pixel art skills I never had in the first place.
Well, my internet was down for about seven hours yesterday so I didn't get a chance to post what I was able to sneak in. I don't think I'll finish, I'm horrible at this.

Mine so far. Gal pointed out that i gotta change the spikes on top of the cactus cause they look weird when it tiles upward and ill probably have to redo the grass a bit too, and I think I see a damn tiling issue with the sand. I hope I can finish in time haha.

Looks nice so far. I'm diggin' the stylized look you're going for. :biggrin.gif:
EDIT: Wait...that doesn't look like pixel art.... You know you're not supposed to use brushes, right?

Not sure about the yellow flowers, I might have to redo them or at least tweak them a lot.
EDIT: Next up will be stone bricks, birch trees and crafting table. Then it's doors.

EDIT 2: Hey feathers, how many colours are allowed for each part of the chest? I have a great idea for it but I don't think it will work with the colour limitations. (I need to have metal on wood)
Alright, question.
For the wood top, can I use 5 from the wood side texture, and 5 for the inside? I am currently using 6, mix between my planks and wood.

I'd say different colors for the metal parts would be fine.
But essentially: Be your own judge. If it feels like cheating to you, don't do it. :smile.gif:
Jungle Ruins was a good pack, and yeah it did bring in a sorta new style.

So far my pack looks kind of similar to Eld's pack I think.
Also, Leo, That doesn't really look like dirt. It seems too random, no actual shapes.

I'm not using brushes, never do. Pencil tool all the way.
