Cobble looks pretty bad so I might go over it again. The planks need a tiny bit more contrast too. :3

You grass does need to be refined a bit and your sand is absolutely awesome (although sometimes is looks a bit jagged)

Anyways, still plowing through the textures:
Long grass and bricks! Also gave the cobble a reddish tinge. Looks better IMO.

God, I'm basically just spamming this thread with my pictures and double posts now...

Anyway:
Obviously the sidegrass isn't done yet but I really need some ideas to improve the dirt. It looks a bit too wavy and strange right now.

I also did the torches but I didn't take any pictures because they'll probably pop up in some of my later screens.

So, any ideas for the dirt?

PS: Feathers, why does it have to be 5?!? I need my one extra colour dammit! Almost all of my textures from 'Pixel perfection' (my new pack which I have yet to make a thread for) have 6 colours... Oh well, I guess it makes a nice challenge then! :laugh.gif:

Well you're doing a completely different style (simple?) so I guess our packs can't exactly be compared anyway!

I vote you try a less simple style though, it's freaking hard with only 5 colours! :unsure.gif:

by the way...made all those textures using 5 colours each, out of a 15 colour pallet.

I like your textures though, they're actually pretty nice apart from the eye-blindingly white stone slabs! Hehehe...

Here's some more progress before bed. I present... The crafting table and windows!



The crafting table was annoying as hell to make!

Oh well, there are 10 colours in total for it - 5 for the top and 5 for the sides but I mixed and matched them a little too. Hope that's not against the rules!

Those colours look a lot better, Leo! Love em!

I think that style really suits the 5 colours limitation a bit better than mine. (which is going to be a generic RPG pack)

The colours in particular are awesome! I'm going to revise my colours tomorrow... They're crap at the moment.
