Not the best of ideas. The point is to create competitive textures with a low color count, not to make crappy ones where the majority of textures are the same solid color.
Haha, you'd be surprised with what people can make with 5 colours (including various shades?)
Was mainly me just misreading the challenge anyway :tongue.gif:
Ah, if you're allowed to use various shades, it's easy.
This challenge doesn't let you do that. You get to choose 5 colors or shades for each block. That's why it's so much fun :smile.gif:

Each shade counts as it's own color.
Let me say that 32 colors for the whole terrain was challenging. VERY challenging.

I guess I'll have to keep messing around with the biome stuff.
Ores. For some reason, the always dirt looks too dark.
Wool.
Just my house. It's got feng shui.
Sheep, those pine needles are quite nice actually! But yeah, the reeds are way too thick, IMO. Also, might you be able to show the actual texture for your grass? I can't get mine right...
I suggest we have till Sunday night EST to submit our packs in and then Monday you put a poll up with all the packs and leave the voting to continue till the next weekend, which would be when you announce the winner. Hopefully I'll be able to get most of the pack done by this weekend :tongue.gif:

I will when I actually make a good one. (I'll have more time to texture tomorrow)
This one is just a place holder I guess... Thanks though! :tongue.gif:
@Lilyo, if it is this sunday then I'd better get cracking! I have to finish at least all the ores, logs, wool, wooden door, furnace and maybe the redstone too because it's quick.

Curse PremiumWe're artists. We muse where we please.
They look so 3D! :blink.gif:
I'm pretty happy with these ores tbh.

Not the right idea for a challenge...
What made you bring back another terrain contest? Not much of an item guy, eh?

Ahhh. I misunderstood your post as well. Yup 5 colors total per texture.. A different shade counts as another color all together.

Curse PremiumSome progress... Reeds need to be changed though, they look shitey right now. Pine logs are next, then the rest of the ores!
