I can't seem to get the texture pack to work in-game. Do in need all of that other stuff like armor and gui in the zip file too? All I get is the default texture pack. I have the terrain.png and items folder with the chests in it. Any help? I wanna take some screenshots.
Finding it really difficult to make anything texture related these days. Not sure I'll get the terrain.png halfway finished in time for Sunday. I'll have to resort to a simple pack
Anyway, anyone got tips on the grey scale textures that go with grasscolor.png and foliagecolor.png? They are the most annoying pieces of crap to texture. I may resort to skipping biome colours completely.

As for the grayscale textures on the terrain.png: The only thing you can change there (without editing the grasscolor/foliagecolor pngs) is the brightness. Just try making it lighter or darker and see if that helps.

You CAN space out your classes and lessen your work load; but that means you will take longer to get through school and if you are living on campus that is a bad idea. More time means more money.

On a mac? I can't even take a texture pack off of the forums that works, unzip it, and then compress the files! I doesn't work! :blink.gif:

Retired StaffBecause the zip file won't work as a texture pack once you unzip it. Go read the mac tutorial-- you have to create a new zip from your terrain file.
