It's nice to see a texture pack with "epic" in the title that isn't horrible! In fact this is far from horrible. You are doing a wonderful job, and I can't wait to see more updates. Beautiful texture pack!

Even if the "epic" IS just part of my username. :tongue.gif:
1. I think you need to make the ores look embedded in the stone, right now they're just sort of floating above the stone (or at least it looks so, due to shading).
2. The jungle leaves doesn't tile very well :/
3. I especially love your wool and sandstone, though I'm not sure about the saplings ...
4. Also it occasionally lacks a bit of detail, e.g. cacti.
Keep on the good work!
1. To me, gold and iron look "embedded" as they were intended to be, while the others seem to pop out as intended. :/
2. With corners, no, but they look fine to me otherwise, and I can't get everything to tile at corners. :/
3. What is it you don't like about the saplings? I like them, actually.
4. Cacti does look a bit undetailed, actually... I'll have to see what I can do. I'll check other blocks for undetail as well.
This pack is AWESOME. I will try to upload some pictures if I make something of worth. Also the obsidian needs a little more texture in my opinion. it just seems void and a texture that is just floating around, not knowing what it really wants to look like. I do like the actual portal look with the black and the red though.
EDIT: I also would prefer a more standard default type sandstone. This would make your pack more similar to others but also make things built using your pack be able to be viewed by people using other packs with just not the same effect.
Here is something I built real quick. I did build it in survival mode and I just started this world
Glad to see someone else finally submitting a screenshot! :happy.gif:
Want me to add it to the fan stuff section of the OP?
Edit: I now see your post above, I don't think it was there when I originally posted this.
Anyway, I can probably change sandstone to something more natural, and obsidian definitely does need a better texture. I haven't been feeling like texturing lately, but this happens now and then. It passes eventually, and then I start releasing updates again. :smile.gif:
Alright. For starters, I think this texture pack is amazing, and should be continued further. One little problem is (sadly) that the leaves are a bit too, for lack of a better word, big, and they don't tile very well. I would suggest making them smaller and a bit more connected. That's, again, my only complaint. Anyways, keep up the good work. I will be checking up regularly for updates and what-not, and I hope this texture pack gets pinned to the front page. I really do. Good job. :wink.gif:

Thank you, though I think that the leaves are a decent size and tile fine.
Unless you're talking about jungle leaves, which were intended to be huge.
Glad you do! Haven't had many posts here recently.
Probably because I haven't update in a while. Don't worry, in this very (very) long amount of time, I ahve a grand total of two textures done!
Made a trapdoor and remade obsidian, for the few who can't tell.
I would even go as far as to say it's inspired. The ores are totally original and everything looks visually appealing.
Diamonds for you, my friend!
'fraid I can't use diamonds from the forums, but I'll accept them anyway! Thanks for the feedback!
Anyway, I finally updated! The pack is now compatible with 1.2.3, though only one 1.2.3 texture has been added. (That being the jungle sapling.) I remade a few things, the most noticeable being wooden planks, and crafting table have been remade to fit in. Obsidian is no longer so dark you can't see that it really did have texture to it, but has been remade to look much more awesome!
And I forgot to update the download link (again) and title! Brbguiz
reeeeaaaaally awesome! gonna download it when I get the chance. but the wooden doors look a little quirky.
I wanted them to look like a modern, white painted door, but I don't think they fit in very well with wooden planks.
I may make them tan to fit in better.

Thanks.
There's yet more to come!

I'm pretty sure I was looking at the leaves for oak and birch.
Will you be adding support for mods once the texture pack is complete?
Probably, but that's not happening for a while now. :smile.gif:

They both me a bit, too, but I haven't gotten to fixing them yet.

In cold biomes, trees have autumnal coloring. A tree being on the edge of a cold biomes causes what you described.
Also, I may start texturing again tomorrow. I'm planning to, anyway, but I may get bored or discouraged ocnce I start. :/
Edit: I textured, but it was on a different pack that hasn't been released yet. :wink.gif:

But thank you for the feedback.
But remember to capitalize your sentences. :u
