Anyways, I've added some of the more common blocks in this update. As a result, I've called this the "Essentials Update." Should make the pack seem less unfinished and more usable. Enjoy. :wink.gif:

Nice update! One thing, and this isn't new, I just forgot to tell you. I'm not really a fan of the glowstone. It's a bit boring and lacks definition. Other than I just love the feeling that this gives Minecraft!

I have noticed that the glowstone seems too smooth and undetailed, and seems to stand out from other textures. I may remake it.

New update, animated lava.
It was very long and repetitive, be grateful. x_x

Actually,
The bed really is default.
The tracks are not edited.
Both the tallgrass AND the fern are done.
The dots in the lava are rocks.
And the fire is default 32x.

But I'm glad the other textures are so pleasing to you. I also have a problem with textures that tend to be too "sharp" or contrasting, not because they hurt my eyes, simply because they look bad. How well things tile is another worry of mine, so I do a tiling test after making everything and do certain tricks to make sure the effects keep things tiling, as well.
And I'm glad my forgetfulness to add the egg texture was so entertaining to you. :tongue.gif:

I got another update out, though have not updated the screenshots yet.
I added a "Fan stuffs" section to remind people that they can add to this thread.

Edit: And I still forgot the dragon egg texture.

Edit 2: Seeing the superior amount of views and pages of packs that are actually newer than mine is starting to frustrate me.

The new update is out! With the custom colors addition of MCPatcher, biome colors for pine leaves and birch leaves have been added. The colored wools have been given patterns, to make them a bit less boring. With vfd's advice, glowstone has been entirely remade. Even the pack.png has been changed, since the biomes colors had caused the old one to become outdated. With the replacement of nearly all of the images on the original post, there are also a few new ones.

I already stated this in your thread, but I'll re-announce it for those that view this.
I guess the next update will involve me changing the lava since nobody can recognize rocks as rocks.

All looks good but when i see the Cheeta Fire i really dint like it sorry

I think the lava looks too much like cheese, but that's just my opinion.

Due to popular demand, lava has been remade.
The burning furnace has also been remade, since I cheaped out on the animation for it a bit.

Love this pack. It has such a great feel and originality, and it must be more appreciated! Nao!

It may be partially my fault for not releasing an update recently, but then again, there are packs that do it much less often than mine.
I've found it kind of unfair how this has existed for weeks and has only two pages, while much more recent threads have the same amount.

I'll probably update tomarrow, if I'm nto too busy with a science assignment.

oh, sense you're updating, one tiny thing, the overlapping ores, though they look great as a single block out in air, or together, when in stone, the ore get's cut off and it doesn't look good.

Sorry, vfd, but I didn't try making new ores. Still not feeling very productive. However, gravel has been remade to look less like noise and more like dirt with rocks, sugarcane has been added, and lilypads have been added.
