Smoother = Better; Less Lag. Say what you want, but 1 pixel covering most of one block, can render faster and better then a bunch of different pixels. I like this SmoothCraft best, though not completly smooth, but it does have some look to each block, I can still see that block, some dont look normal, but at least its smooth, and faster.

Oh? You know, there was a study on this, and, from someone who has been working with MC textures, no. You see, although there are less colors, it's just that, less colors. The amount of pixels does not change when multiple pixels are the same color. Now, 1 pixel would be possible, if a pack were made in 1x1 texture sizes. There's even been a 1/256x pack, although I do not know the specifics of speed.
On-Topic: Not bad. I would suggest adding a bit more detail and removing the borders, though. I do quite like the cobble.
SmoothCraft 1.0.0 Update 4 has been released! Check it out! Updated with multiple new mob textures, and a few tool texture tweaks. More updates coming soon! Keep the suggestions and comments coming!
If you're going to call it smooth, I'd suggest making the textures actually smooth in their transition, rather than segmenting every block apart from it's brethren.
Looks like a nice pack if you ignore that, would certainly try it if it was actually smooth.

This space for rent.
No cost, just convince me you have something worth supporting.

I was considering changing the name, i'm just trying to find the right one. I will be setting up a poll for the new name in the near future.
Added a poll for changing the name of the texture pack. This is very important! Please place your vote if you wish to. Update 5 of this texture pack is coming out very soon! Stay tuned for more updates.
Clarity 16x16 has been updated with Update 5! Another picture has been added, be sure to check it out! Read the change log to see what's new. Keep an eye out for more updates!
Sorta looks like you just removed a lot of the detail and then added a box around the squares to make it tile well instead of putting thought into the textures. It does look nice, though, but only because it reminds me a lot of some other texture packs, specifically every texture pack in the 'Simple' genre.
In short, it's unoriginal in its styling and could use more detail, rather than taking detail away.
Forget the haters, I love this <3 Great work, keep on going :3
...
I don't think you know what 'hater' means.
Someone saying "Hey, this isn't that bad, but I doubt many people will use it" isn't 'hating'. It's providing feedback, which plenty of the people in this thread have furthered with constructive criticism, a.k.a. the exact opposite of hating.
When I looked at the title of this thread I thought "I bet this is one of those effortless simple packs that look like they were made by a turtle on MSpaint"
I was right. It is an insult to us good texturers seeing these vomit-inducing packs.
Sorry if I sount like I"m an overreacting idiot. But I have had enough of these packs called stuff like "smooth curls", "clear lines" and stuff!
I wouldn't go that far. Some people enjoy simplicity, the problem is too much simplicity. Id say remove the border from the cobble, make 'em more like that, it could turn out alright.

Curse PremiumFeedback is greatly appreciated, I will do the best I can to make this texture pack as appealing as possible to the general public.
Update 11 has been released! Make sure you use MCPatcher if you want HD fonts and custom water, and check out the changes log!
This texture pack will be occasionally updated as it is not completely done yet; watch this forum if you like the pack.
Works best with MCPatcher or Optifine to enable custom fonts and custom water animations; download them here:
MCPatcher by Kahr for v1.5.1: <here>
Optifine by sp614x for v1.5.1: <here>
