Kaldeon is a planet where magic abounds. Unique creatures and plant-life can be found here. Some things seem to defy logic, others, physics. This world has many miracles, a place of untold treasure and unparallelled danger. Society here is at it's apex. Space ships, laser rifles, you name it. But a noticeable oddity is how the culture as a whole seems to be medieval in nature. Most warriors prefer swords, axes, bows, and other things like this as opposed to energy blades, energized chain saws, laser rifles etc. Though you can still find those, and even some things from Earth's present day technology. The world of Kaldeon is vast, much larger than Earth. As is it's sun, moon, galaxy, surrounding planets. Since it's sun is larger, it must be further away to be habitable, so it's orbit is larger then Earth's, and it's temperature is approximately 5 Celsius higher than Earth's as well. One of the more noticeable planets is that of the Hin'pli, or 'Glowing Eyes', who are highly adept to magic, and have created many surrounding moons around their vast planet. Rumor has it you can get to their moons through portals hidden in underground structures. But beware, for they created a powerful creature to guard each moon..

The People
Although they look like humans at first glance, they're quite different. No hair colour is unnatural, save for multi-coloured hair. Their insides are a little tougher than human's, so they would barely feel a human's slap. They are somewhat larger then humans, due to them having 10% more blood than humans. A Kaldian matures faster than a human, reaching their maximum height at about 16 earth years of age, as well as having their muscles also build faster, enabling stronger warriors.
The Creatures
The wildlife on Kaldeon is rather odd. For example, the equivalent of Earth's cow is, on Kaldeon, orange. Though it still produces drinkable milk, it's milk is 'purer' then Earth cow milk, because the Kaldi-cow, or Mogrif, has an even stranger digestion process. The Mogrif's saliva has anti-bacterials in it, allowing it to eat some rather disgusting things, and get away with it. Oh, guess what Kaldic soap is made from? But of course, just having anti-bacterial spit doesn't make it strange, or immune to everything. It's tonsils can eliminate some viruses that it would otherwise ingest. But only if the virus is on the food or water, where it touched the tonsils. Some things do get by, and depending on what gets by, the Mogrif can 'sense' it, and regurgitate it's food, or drink, in order to eat/drink it again. It will repeat until the food/drink is 'clean'. And as it's final wall of defense, it has a sort of 'dummy system'. It has two of every organ. All of the diseases the get past it's mouth defenses, usually diseases injected into it, or diseases that are airborne or transferred by touch, are sorted out by the body's defensive system, and then is sent to attack the 'secondary' systems, while all of the good vitamins and stuff go straight to the primary. Depending on how much of the secondary system is harmed, the Mogrif can live a very long life. Like a shark's teeth, the Mogrif can 'switch out' it's systems, allowing it twice the life.
An image of the Mogrif:
Another creature unique to the Kaldic wildlife is the Drunmk, or 'creeper', which is easily identifiable by their human-ish skin tone, giant green insect-like eyes, their visible bloodstream and heart, which looks external, but is not. Their blood shows through their skin. The last identifiable feature is their open mouth, which is basically a hole in their face covered by a flap of skin that connects above and below their mouth. These things have 'odd blood'. Their blood works like normal blood, except how it has a special chemical in it. They don't have adrenaline, instead they have a different chemical, which reacts to the chemical in their blood. These two chemicals, when combined, begin creating energy, and don't stop until the energy buildup gets too high, cause a massive release of energy, destroying quite a bit around them. You might notice, these creatures are not peaceful. It started when a group of scientists learned of the chemical reaction, and started experimenting with those chemicals in an attempt to create a clean energy source. At first, they couldn't do anything with it, because they started small. A drop of each chemical. It did nearly nothing, and burst almost immediately. As they increased the amounts, it delayed longer and longer, and exploded bigger and bigger. Unfortunately, they couldn't figure out a way to keep the two chemicals from exploding, however they did discover a new weapon. However, finding a Drunmk that had died, and not exploded, was rare. And even when they did, it was usually too late to get any of the chemicals from them. The little they did get allowed them to experiment, but not weaponize. Until one scientist had the idea of creating 'tank-bred' Drunmk. They genetically branded these Drunmk to grow a mark on the back of their head, allowing them to tell an unnatural one from a natural one. What they did not know was they the genetic altering made them aggressive, destroying the research station, and getting free. The genetic mutation genes were stronger than the unmodified ones, and thus, over time, no Drunmk was peaceful.
An image of a Drunmk at night, alongside a Roleton:
Now, you might be wondering "What's a Roleton?" If you can see in that picture, it's basically a robotic skeleton. The first of the scientist's experiments. They took to skeletons of the dead, along with machine parts, and brought them back to life. The reason for this was full-on robots were expensive, while taking some machine parts and adding them to an already existing 'body' enabled cheaper production. All they need are people willing to have their bones put to work after they die. They just fill out a form similar to organ donation. Of course, the robotic skeletons, or 'Roletons', could still think for themselves. This was put in so they didn't have to instruct them on every little thing, and so if regular people didn't know what to do, the Roleton could analyze the situation and come up with several solutions faster then a normal person. It didn't take long for the Roletons to see they were basically slaves, and revolt. Bows are their preferred choice of weapons because they're cheap, easy to make, silent, and laser rifles have a tracking chip in them, which tells people when it was fired, where, even what the target looked like, as it takes a picture as it fires. This made solving crimes easier, until the criminals caught on.
Picture of a Roleton at night:
Now, for the moment you've all been waiting for..
Zombies.
How did these come about? Well, on Kaldeon, the dead have always been rising from their grave if the proper burial rituals were not followed carefully enough, or even used. These 'natural zombies' are not infectious. However, you might notice some zombies have a marking on their face, similar to the one found on the back of the Drunmk and Roleton. You might be able to guess who were behind this one. That same scientist group. The reason for this one was to combat the Roletons and the Drunmks. They gathered an already living zombie, and copied it's genetic code, altered it so it could infect the Drunmk, disabling the Drunmk's secondary chemical, and then proceeded to brand it with the marking, then released the zombies with a brain chip installed so they could be controlled. Why are thy hostile to others, and not the things they were created to combat? I'll tell you that later.
But for now, a zombie:
The spider's story is a simple one, ever since the dawn of time there have been, as an Earthling might call them, 'abnormally large' spiders. These, for Kaldians, are normal. In fact, there are rumors of even larger spiders, but either none have seen them, or those who have can't tell anyone.. Except for maybe another who's seen one.
Spider:
There are rare creatures called Chalsri. These odd things have no limbs, and a face that takes up almost their whole front. They are a form that mana takes as it manifests into a physical shape. You would be lucky to even see a Chalsrin.
The Nether
An unnatural, evil place. The normal ground in there absorbs light, so even though there's fire and lava everywhere, you'll need to bring other sources of light. The creatures here are unnatural. All of them manufactured by one scientist in particular, the one who had the idea to breed Drunmks. All of their actions had been influenced by him. All of the 'accidents' were not accidents at all. He had found a different realm, one with spirits and blobs of fire. He captured those spirits, and turned them into Kors, or 'ghasts', he manufactured, using the cores of those blobs of fire, a new being, a 'Blaztik', or 'Blaze' to guard the fortresses he built around the nether. He also took the zombie genetic code and modified it, strengthened it, and put parts of pigs to strengthen where the zombies were weak, so they're no longer aimlessly wandering, mindless beings, but grouping armies, ready to march out into the real world and destroy all. He put his new mark on them, one to show HE made them, not that group of scientists. He also was the one who set the Drunmks to be aggressive, the Roletons to rebel, and controlled the zombies to infect everyone.

I am happy to present to you my first Texture Pack! Now, most of you may notice that I used the demo version, and that I'm missing some Screen Shots. I cannot provide screen shots, due to the use of the demo version, and I only have so much time to explore and stuff. I tried to get all I could. Also, the demo version's behind. So I can't even show you a stronghold, nether or overworld. I also made so many other textures you can't see in the demo version of the game, and am curious to how they turned out in the real game.
If someone could provide screenshots of these for me, that'd be great.
Yes, I know in the armour pictures the bed was messed up. I fixed that, as you can see in the bed(side) image.
Oh, and one more thing. The char.png image 'doesn't matter'. I just put the skin I use in there, because it's my pack. :tongue.gif: Feel free to change it. Don't know how? Refer to the 'Alternate Textures' part, just below here. (If you don't know where it is, look in the folder titled 'mob'.)

Now, there are some other things. Such as:
Alternate Textures
Just right-click the image, then left-click 'Save Image As'. Then, using Win-Rar, open up the zipped 'Kaldeon.rar' texture pack, and drop them into the appropriate areas. Or use the customizer.

Oh, if anyone could tell me how to edit the fire/water/lava 'correctly' that'd be cool, as well as how to make an HD texture pack. I know how to do the sizes for the terrain.png, but I don't know the GUI sizes or mob sizes. I'm mainly thinking of doing a 32x or 64x HD texture pack, but I'm not sure how to work the whole HD stuff.
Is it 'it'll work so long as it ends in a multiple of 2'? (Meaning an 18x or 10x texture pack could work) or does it have to be things relating to * x 2? (Meaning 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x, 64x, 128x, etc.)
