Well, to be fair, you are new. So to help you avoid these situations in the future, i'll lay out the facts:
1) You cannot use other's textures or represent them in a manner that suggests that they were created by you, unless the creator has either given explicit permission or permitted their free distribution. These textures are from the Painterly pack, the creators of which offered to share their work at one minute request (which you failed to address):
"... If you use parts of the pack in your own skins or videos or whatever, I simply ask that you give credit for any elements used (such as through a link to the webpage), and that you don't profit from, or solicit donations through, use in full or in part from any elements of my pack."
2) Generally, people appreciate a texture pack that is both complete and genuine; meaning, "done by thine own hand."
Also, people get quite anal about pictures (as you can already see), and not every individual is keen on clicking a posted link, either. Try embedding your image by obtaining the image's direct link and pasting it in between the tags (in the following format) ---> direct image link
