I like it. =) Some members prefer SIMPLE packs because it is too hard to adjust to ones that are too different. Like me. Nice texture pack, I like it. The only thing I would recommend would be to make different water+lava textures.
Look, I have nothing against simple packs, if they have any work put into them.
Meaning, yeah make a simple pack, but you best add some detail to it, because those single colored blocks are what are pushing better, not-yet-known packs off the front page.
I like those packs, I don't reply to a thread with over 100 posts on it, unless I've been following it.
I do admire your maturity though, you ask for suggestions instead of saying,"**** you!" Most of this entire forums is immature.
So, suggestion, add some level of detail to it. Look at the more successful smooth packs, the ones that don't aim at adding tons of detail.
Get just the right color, add just enough detail, have just enough shading, and you'll be good. This amount of "just," is more a concept, though, as it varies from person to person.
