A few issues:
1) Text is default.
2) Some mobs have default texture e.g villager magma cube.
3) Mojang logo is default.
I am using the 128x version.
Yes I have used MC patcher.
Text is default because I can't be bothered to make one :biggrin.gif: (Sorry to be blunt about that)
Honestly it's because mcpatcher and optifine do them both differently. So no matter which way I make it, it will always look wrong on one of them. So I'm just not going to bother until they sort themselves out.
Villagers will remain to have the default texture because they're characters.
The player has a 16x skin. It's only fitting that villagers have 16x too. Otherwise the player will look completely out of place.
I am however going to be editing them to look like wastelanders.
Mojang logo? Really?
No. Why waste my time on something that lasts for a second and has no effect on gameplay. Perhaps one day. When I have time.
In other news: GaoAsaurusG (Aka. Kleintje) has kindly made a series based on the Wasteland mod and is using my Wastelandcraft texture pack to tell her story.
It's a fantastic series and I can't wait to see more.
I absolutly LOVE your texturepack. I'm not really a fan of realistic HD packs, but this one is totally awesome. As a Fallout fan, I really found the same dark and desolate atmosphere. Great work ! I'm proud you will use my font with it :smile.gif:
However I have a few suggestions, but maybe I should wait for the next update before...

It's very heavily inspired by Fallout 3, I modded that game on the nexus for a long time before joining the Minecraft Community. This is intended to be used with the Wasteland Mod by Silver Weasel, it can be used without it as I've made the texture pack so it will also make Normal worlds look like they're dying.
The font definitely goes well with this pack. I threw the 64x version in the WIP Update pack and it's perfect. It's much better than anything I'd be able to put together in the next few days.
I welcome any and all suggestions from anyone, at any time. Feel free to throw them at my way :smile.gif:
The download links will remain offline for another day or two. Not going to bother reuploading the pack to somewhere else. There is a work around on the forums, look for it and use it if you really want to try the pack.
I am working on the update for this pack and I'm not uploading this to somewhere else because mediafire is feeling a little butt hurt.
Love the way this looks! Unfortunately though when i clock on the 64x download link, after the ad fly "commercial" there is no link to the download :/ fix please? i gots :biggrin.gif:
Yea im an idiot... shoulda read more of the forum posts first x3 sorry! still an awsome pack though! :biggrin.gif:
After clicking download,
Wait a few seconds,
Then right click the Skip button (YES RIGHT CLICK)
and select 'Copy Link Address' or 'Copy Shortcut' (OR WHATEVER YOUR BROWSER SAYS)
Paste into your address bar and press Enter
Profit?
Ps. Update is coming soon.
That's why I'm not "fixing" the links.
I like the look of the texture pack. Looking forward to checking it out. I wanted to get a good wasteland map to go with it. Which one is in the video? Just learning how to do all this stuff so go easy on me

It's not a map you download. It's actually new world generation code.
It's done by installing the "Wasteland Mod" by Silver Weasel.
Beware. It's not updated to 1.2.3 yet as of this message.
So you will need to install it onto a 1.1 Minecraft.jar
If you don't have one or didn't back it up. Shame :/
If you do have a 1.1 jar but don't know how to install it.
Drop me a message.
Hey man, sorry to ask but is it at all possible to snag a few textures from you up until/if I find better corresponding textures for my fallout pack? Kinda ashamed to ask, but I seriously need most and possibly all the foliage.... You'll get full credit for them, and a link to your profile (And of course anything else you insist). Please get back to me on this. : )
hey texture pack maker!!! update to 1.3 plzz man i love the pictures of the pack and tryed it out mor minecraft 1.3 but the gui and stuff didnt pop up lol so plz update so i can play wastland in peace lol hope for the update take your time no rush!!!!lol
bye man!!
I really love this texture pack, but there is one thing that gets on my nerves a bit as i'm playing
the water is a dirty color, while the water bucket and underwater overlay are deep blue
that bothers the crap out of me, but i really love the texture pack otherwise
sorry if it seems like nitpicking

No that is not nitpicking at all, in fact it is clearly an error on my part that needs addressing.
I didn't know I forgot about that, so thank you for pointing it out.
I am planning on giving this texture pack a huge overhaul.
So far it's concentrated on most of the terrain. Now I will finally complete it by working on the building blocks also.
Should be more impressive than before.
When will it be done? *Shrugs*
i will now dump more problems on you
1. Bottles also have blue water
2.pumpkins have a default overlay
3:dying reeds give healthy-looking reeds when picked
All problems will be fixed in the upcoming update.
Here is a preview of the successor to this texture pack. Check it out and tell me what you think of it 1.4.5 Preview Link, it's mostly unfinished so don't expect perfection just yet.
Ps. It is 64x. The 256x, 128x and 32x preview is being held back until full release.

Should be able to play the wasteland mod in a high resolution of depression
Enjoy.
