I'm started making a texture pack of a theme somewhat dark and of x16 resolution and I'm desiding to post some screenshots of the work i made so far, i would like to hear opinions and suggestion on how to make it better.

Soo, if youre starting it... Keep making it, looks nice. Same as cliffhanger101, don't like the torches.
Well yeah i need to think of a better torch, I will continue tomorrow the work

Not bad, it has potential :) Torch needs to be slimmer, but the idea is good. Add some shading to the planks. And don't forget to make sure everything tiles well. That can make or break a pack.

You can see what the person was going for, so that's a good start. Although, something that is bugging me is the stone/everything else. The stone is 100% noticeable noise, while everything else is smoother. Keep everything one style, meaning rather lose the noise on the stone or noise up everything else. Looks good though! :smile.gif:
