ok i made a texture pack that looks just like the slandered texture but the idea is that it would have little to no clouds and no physical rain

changeing the clouds picture in the environment folder doesn't change anything
i made it completly transparent i figured that would work but it did dent
any pointers
same thing with the rain
but ya the goal is to make a little less lag when it rains and you are recording or something

Well, in 1.9.5 (I think, it might be 1.9.6) you can turn clouds off, but there's no rain option. The only way you could get rid of this would probably be a mod. Not sure though, there may be a way with a texture pack.

You can make the rain completely transparent but it still wouldn't remove the sound.
