I had this texture replacement for pumpkinblur.png that I collected a long while back for low-light uses, but it's also got some vanity to it. Now I'm new to the whole forum thing, but if there's an ACTIVE thread for this already, point me in the right direction, and I'll delete this one. On the off-hand that this doesn't even belong here (which I'm pretty sure it does), then as I said, point me in the right direction and I'll delete this thread.
Now back on the topic of these tings:

- PICTURE MODIFIED BY ME FOR 1.8.1;


My question is; Does anybody out there have the skills to clean up my rough job, or even improve upon it?
Post your work on it, if you want to, as mine is below amateur at best.

Aside from that, share what you've collected and made!

Guess I should clarify;
to use this, open up your .zip texture pack of choice, open up the folder labeled "misc", and delete the pumpkinblur.png inside of it, then replace it with the modded pumpkinblur.png
DOUBLE EDIT:
A personal note to myself, when using the visor color on GIMP 2.0, set transparency to 10% (or around there, memory is hazed). For text/pronounced detail color, set transparency to 50% (or around there). I might need some rest here shortly, geeze.

The jealousy ensues. I've always wanted to make a texture pack, and as a matter of fact, started production on one a while ago, but dang did it take dedication. Oh and I don't mean to offend, if you took my wording in a wrong way. That's just who I am, as a personality. So given your level of expertise, what say you help a mediocre texture artist out?

It's cool of you to say so, but my humble attitude about texturing prevents me from agreeing. In all honesty, you would be better off with a professional.

thank you SO much for this, i was looking for a custom pumpkin blur and this is by far the best, i just installed in my minecraft bin folder and i love it!

When i replace my pumpkinblur.png with anything, it doesnt work. I cant see through it. How to replace your actual pumpkinblur.png and make it work? Cos mine wont let me see through
