I began doodling in my terrain.png file because I wanted a bleak-looking texture pack for a survival challenge.
The end result is this.
And much more..although the links for the pics don't seem to be working right now..
I will continue to update textures.
Currently; the wheat, furnace, water, lava, and a few others have not been messed with. Many items such as the bed haven't received a proper re-do, and I intend to complete them in the future.
I do not, however, intend to customize armor, mobs, weather, paintings, or any other unnecessary commodities AT THE MOMENT//. This is meant to install a bleak feeling in Minecraft, and my skill with pixel drawing is second hand. As such, I will not and can not provide advanced modifications to be included in this pack.
// If this pack receives enough positive feedback, I will try my best to upgrade the textures, including the environment, tools, and possibly even mobs and armor. If someone is willing to aid their skills in this WIP's completion, I'd offer my sincere thanks.
Constructive criticism is welcomed, as are well intended messages and helpful or inspirational excepts that motivate me to add extra effort and detail to later versions of this texture pack.
Im really liking the ores and ore blocks but I think the cobble could be improved. Id make the tiles bigger and then put cracks on them itd make it more bleak

Yeah the ore blocks were the original pieces I created which inspired me to attempt making a full pack.
I will take what you said into consideration, although creating cracks on a 16x16 block is easier said then done :biggrin.gif:

(Just drag the .zip into your /texturepacks folder :tongue.gif:)
Yes, it did go both ways, I'm afraid. Especially in this picture, where all the shiny stuff is accumulated :biggrin.gif:.
There we go!
Enjoy!
