A. Really? Shoot....I wonder if it's my crappy laptop then. I'll have to spend some time testing it on my good computer!
B. This make me insanely happy! Also, I have no idea where the feedback is. I looked under a rock....but......nothing
C. I want to stab the chest with a pickaxe! That will definately be fixed for the next update, which will be soon, if creepers don't keep destroying my stuff on the server I play on.
D. Death to creepers.....creepers must die!
E. I drink fire water.....yeah lol.... I need sleep!
F. You rock for all the awesome support!
A:You do that.
B:I'ma tell my friends.
C:Very violent.
D: Wtf is the brown line over 'off' redstone torches?

D: Wtf is the brown line over 'off' redstone torches?
I would never have noticed that since I don't use redstone torches very often. I checked the terrain.png, and It's actually the bottom of the lit redstone torch (the stick is too long). I will be fixing that for the update as well. Thanks a bunch! I am also taking out the random brown square on the regular torch. It was nearly invisible on the terrain.png but I erased it!
Also, thank you so much for spreading the word. I know this pack needs a lot of work, but it'll get there :smile.gif:! Thanks for sticking with me :smile.gif:

No, thank YOU for sticking with this texture pack. It's fricking awesome. A cross between Jolicraft and Summerfields and I can actually run it on my laptop. This texture pack is frickin' amazing. And random brown square? Didn't notice...
Still open to help you with the monsters, you know, if you still want some help :wink.gif: Other than that I'll take a look at it for a bit. See you later or something~ :3
Hey thanks As! I may take you up on that offer because I'm still thinking I want the monsters to look completely gruesome (apart from slimes and ghasts maybe). I won't be getting to the mobs for a while though. I put in yet another hour (on top of the several hours already spent) improving one texture. I guess it's better than doing a half-assed job though.

You are completely welcome Davtiln! I finished a handful of things, so even though I didn't get as much done as I would have liked, I am going to release an update tomorrow. Let me know what you think when you get a chance to try it out! I'll be posting some screenshots tomorrow when I get home.
The crafting table's very flowery. xD I'm scared to show my friends because I'm male. But this pack is amazing still Diamonds for you!
Ya know Davtiln, I was actually worried about that. I was afraid that the craft table could alienate people interested in the pack, and you don't have a choice to use it or not because it's a necessity of the game. I think I'm going to work on a texture that's less flowery and more universal. I eventually want to make this pack customizable, and I will definitely include the flowery table in the options. So expect a new crafting table in the next update :smile.gif:! As always, thanks for the feedback, and thank you so much for the diamonds!
Though as a liberal woman, I should point out how sad it is that society dictates gender specific decorations like associating flowers with women, but I digress.
You're still awesome my friend and you also get diamonds!
I wanted to give you advanced notice that the name of my texture pack will be changing. I was hesitant to do this because I didn't want people that are using the pack to be unable to find this thread. I did not make this choice lightly, but I feel that it is for the better of my texture pack. I'd suggest watching this thread, to easily locate it in the future.
There will also be major changes to the pack logo and thread front page. I've streamlined the visuals and focused my theme. Thank you for all the views and downloads (just over 200 :smile.gif:)!

Sounds like a hard decision. Glad that you're not indecisive. Oh and even with this name, I wasn't able to locate the pack by searching for it.
Its very good! I have noticed you are through with the basic items so far, and i will use this as my default pack, but there are a few issues I am having.
1. Diamond block is just pure white. with the radiant diamond color i would think that it would be a bit more colorful
2. Dispenser is not the brick color on all sides. just on the top.
3. Furnace is just like the dispenser problem, only now its just missing the sides.
4. Pistons are too bright of a color. I tend to mistake them for gold bars
5. Trapdoors have the same problem as pistons. I think if you toned down the color it would be more aesthetically pleasing.
6. Just a little issue for me: The bookcases seem a little bare. maybe spice it up with more books or something?
7. Mycelium is a bit... crazy. It kinda spazzes my eyes to look at it.
Keep up the great work!
P.S. It was ironic that i was searching for jolicraft but clicked on this
1. The clay skin makes it look like sponge
2. The same brown line that previously appeared on redstone torches now appears on levers. NOTE: this only happens when you are holding a lever.
Maybe someone has mentioned this before, but people might mix this up with this, due to the name.
Damn, didn't notice that text pack! I named my texture pack after a solo album I completed in 2007. I feel confident though that my name is distinct enough considering "Puddle's" doesn't appear in the logo.

I'm never quite done with my textures. I've already changed quite a few two or three times, and I'm always looking for ways to improve!
This is awesome detailed feedback, and I agree with a lot of what you said. The color of the pistons and trap door have been bothering me. I will probably use a shade similar to the one I've used for the chest, if not slightly darker.
I wasn't quite sure how the furnace template was laid out on the terrain.png, so I didn't realized I missed a side until after the update. Both the furnace and dispenser will be fixed in the next update.
About the bookcases, here's the big question, should I keep the creeper face or replace it with books? I know they need to change, but I'm still pondering how.
The mycelium...I'm going to be completely honest. I have NEVER seen it in the game. I have yet to stumble upon a mushroom biome in any of my worlds. I may just have to bite the bullet and get a muchroom biome seed.
Thank you so much for all the feedback, and Jolicraft has been my main inspiration for wanting to create my own texture pack...it's awesome!
1. The clay skin makes it look like sponge
2. The same brown line that previously appeared on redstone torches now appears on levers. NOTE: this only happens when you are holding a lever.
I was thinking about changing the clay, but my fiance really likes it. >_< I really do plan on making this customizable eventually though, so everyone wins! :smile.gif:
I like this pack. Am using it and probably will for a long while since i am to lazy to look for new ones... Plus i always look for a better one and this time it may take a while if you know what i mean.
Few things that bother me though. (Constructive critiscism, no hatin')
-Grass. The top looks al smooth and good. Sidegrass look all chunky and pixelated.
-Wooden planks. The yellowish on the wood is a bit out of place in my opinion.
-Ice. I dont know if you're going to change the watercolor to something green, otherwise ice looks wierd.
And, are you planning to make this pack abit girlish? otherwise, the sand looks like theres candy strips over it. Don't know if that was your intention, lol. :biggrin.gif:
Keep up the good work!
Constructive criticism is always welcome-- I't s how we improve as artists! I actually recently found out that a texture that I thought represented wet grass is actually fancy grass. I've left it until now because I thought it looked kind of cool, but I can definitely play around with the grass a bit more.
I have been thinking about tweaking the planks. My original planks were very light like bamboo flooring, but I could also try a rich chocolaty color.
Unfortunately, I wasn't planning on doing custom water or lava because I wanted people to be able to use the pack without a patch. I'm not sure why. I have a really nice computer, and I can run the patch and I'm sure I can handle HD texture packs, but for some reason I got it in my head that I should just stick to 16x16 packs. I'm not going to lie though, some packs on the forum are making it hard to be so stubborn!
As far as making it "girlish," not my intention, but it has been happening a bit lol! I will try to make alternates that are more universal.
Thank you so much, and again, constructive criticism is always welcome!
Im not trying to be insulting, But I see that you have put alot of work to it, but
-Dirt tiles badly
-Grass does not tile well either and looks bad with the sidegrass
-change the color on the sand and ice.
other than that, it looks pretty nice.
You don't seem insulting, just very to-the-point. :smile.gif: Quite a few of my textures have tiling issues. I'm trying to tackle them one-by-one, and dirt is on the top of that list.
Awww lol, my swirly side grass. I figured that wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. That's another texture I'll have to make an alternate for.
Color choice is more subjective, but I will definitely consider doing alt. textures for them.
Thanks a bunch for the feedback!
Phew.....
Thank you for all the support and feedback everyone! :smile.gif:

Here is a screenshot of some of the updated textures. Let me know what you think!!!!!!!
...and the updated item bar
I agree. I don't think I've seen anything quite like it.
The crafting table's very flowery. xD I'm scared to show my friends because I'm male. But this pack is amazing still
Thank you both very much! :smile.gif:

Love this pack by the way. Keep up the good work. :smile.gif:
Thank you so much! :smile.gif:
I changed the name to Puddle Place! It was Mopy Pack previously.
I like the new name much better. <insertnamehere>craft always seems...typical...

You see that green button with the plus? You dont have to click it, and I am not gonna force you to do it.
